So the announcement came today that former Trinity Assistant, Michael Fox, was named as Head Coach at Oldham County. What do you think about this hire?

Don't know, they had over 30 applicants. After they narrowed it down to 2 they said they had over 20 more applicants so anybody guess is as good as mine. They assigned an "interim" head coach to conduct off season weights and conditioning so it may be awhile before they give us an answer. The AD has already changed his announcement date 3 times so you can't go by that anymore....

oops, correction on the schedule. We dropped Shelby County (11-2) for Collins (7-5)

I will see what I can find out on the High School for the other coach.

I agree, I am a stats man, always have, always will be, but you are correct, they don't always tell the truth. The offense did have turnovers on our side of the field. We did have blocked punts returned for Touchdowns, interceptions returned for Touchdowns. When it comes to if he's the man for the job, I know a lot of the Kids think he is. I like him, he knows his football. I like the vision he has for the team. so, Yes, I think he is.

Looks like its down to 2. They are bringing them back in next week for 2nd interview. They are keeping it close to the vest. They are saying announcement before the end of the year.

Oldham County has narrowed down to 5. Had a meeting with the returning "Leaders" on the football team, Friday. Interviews are this week. They expect to announce by Friday. Hope they get a good one.

So found out that they also dropped Oldham County from their schedule. A replacement was quickly found, Oldham has added Seneca to their schedule.

I know Oldham County added them this coming year? So maybe when they say they are not playing 5A for 2 years I would also assume they mean district play.

So I coached at Beth Haven their last time around. First 8-man and then 11-man. Their last Head Coach is actually Fairdales Head Coach, Matt Wright. Also, up until recently you could have 2 Jefferson County teams playing in the championship, that can't happen now.
