Yes that seems about right playmaker, im not saying the gane was called for North by no means, im just saying how bad it was in general. Outside of a good old fashion hosing where someone just gets cheated to death, this was the one of the worst called games ive ever seen.

Refs is this game should be suspended, terrible inconsistent, game never had any type of flow. On a night where there was D1 coaches in the building watching 2 players, all they saw was free throws and refs blowing whistles. Game wasnt even close to being physical.

Foul fest, North shoots 24 ft in the fourth quarter, 36 total in second half. Clay was already without starter will sexton, and had 3 more guys foul out. Clay did play much better tonight, shared the ball well, Farmer, Smith and wolfe played well, and Clays New guy Decker gave then some big minutes. North battled back all night and kept it in the 4-7 pt range.

I wouldnt classify johnson, hall, justice, and Beverly as typical mountain players nor would i group blair in with those calibrr players, the kid even said it himself he has trouble with long athletic guards, wasnt trying to ruffle any feathers, the kid can play, so can Connor Hoskins and Trey Farmer but they all fit the mold. As what i am referring to.

I wish the kid nothing but the best, but i have seen him on multiple occasions and in many camps, and i came away with 2 impressions. 1. Hes your typical mountain ball player, can shoot, but extremely slow footed, plays extremely hard , and gets the most out of his talent. 2. If he plays anything above the D3 or low level NAIA it will shock me. Im pulling for him, but he shouldnt worry about his recruitment, enjoy his time and achievements in high school. I really do think he gets the most out of his talent and seems to be a GREAT kid.

Word this morning was Clay has lost starter Will Sexton for remainder of regular season possibly year. Departed last night's game with broken ribs and possibly punctured lung.

Agree 100% South's Role players are out playing clays and its not close, South also much better on the defensive end right now. Ill still bet the farm on Clay if these 2 meet in region, but right now South is the better TEAM.

I did like souths adjustment at half to put more shooters on floor , made a big difference, in allowing grubb to start penetrating.

Smith and Farmer combine for 55 pts on over 63 percent shooting and perry still wins, they cant do much more offensively, clay has to figure out things on defensive side of ball.

Tobler dominated Inside, he had 24 pts, Perry county shot the lights oit last night, best shooting performance ive seen in a while. Farmer and Smith had 28 and 27 in a losing effort. Clay has got to fix there defensive problems. Or they will not win the region.
