I think the talent level overall is not down, I think its as high as its ever been, But talent level doesn't always equate to good teams. Individual talent is way up team talent, still to be determined IMO.

Very nice win for the Clay County over a top 25 team in Utah, clay pulled the starters with 7 minutes to go to advance to the semi-finals. Trey Farmer 18 pts Blake Smith 17 pts, 10 reb Will Sexton 12 pts, 14 reb Wes wolfe 11 pts.

Clay County will face Summit Academy, Utah @ 820pm. This should be a very big test for the tigers as Summit Academy has 3 players over 6'8. Yes school is still in to the best of my knowledge, This is one of the biggest showcase tournaments in the nation for the Christmas period.

Final from tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas. Blake smith led Clay with 23 pts. Smith and Farmer only played 20 mins. Clay advances to play@ 820pm tomorrow.

Cordia isnt playing there home games at lotts creek but do agree with wireman it is a difficult place to play

No Cordia has as much talent as anyone in the state, Kieta there big guy has been out injured. They have the talent to beat anyone.

Perry is much better thanbi ha f anticipated, Hoskins has done a wonderful job with this group

Yes they play @ South Laurel during regular season and have the potential to meet in the finals of the wymt mountain classic. Both teams are very good, South has what Clay strugfles against in a dominate big man , one the best if not the best in state, but Clay has some of the best guards in the state , it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

I think Boyle county is ahead of West Jessamine and right there with Pulaski, all are very close in my opinion.

Obi and redbird are district games, have to played.

A loss is a loss, fellas, 32 pt win over corbin and a win over ballard must not mean anything, CC is the #1 ranked team in the mountains by wymt, ranked inside the top 25 in every poll, and ahead of South in every poll but Les's poll, He was on the North bandwagon last year early i guess this year its south

Theres no doubt they have the talent to be there, but i agree with them not being ranked, just because you play good teams close and lose, means nothing. There are no moral victories in losing. These are the best rankings in the state, keep up the good work

Looks good to me, i would say that South Laurel has the talent to be in the 15-20 range, they just have learn to close out close games.

A two loss team ranked ahead of an undefeated team, while the undefeated team is ranked ahead of the South in every single statewide poll.....SMH

Farmers a senior, as far as Ballard #14 and #22 did the bulk of the scoring , #33 did have several nice plays and finished with double figures in scoring. Ballard played 10-12 deep compared to clays 7. Good game to watch.

Agree 100 percent with having role players, but your role players have to be good at the roles, and Taylor has absolutely no one outside of Goodin and Sloan. If they are a top 10 team, its the weakest this state has ever been.

I said it when Taylor played Perry Central without there best player, that they where very overrated, I don't think they are a top 10 team. Have 2 very good guards and the rest are below average ROLE players.

Yes they do play young players, but they are really good young players, and you will not see anyone else plaster Corbin the way Clay did, People do not Realize how good Clay is when they play defense and TEAM ball.

Pig is a nice player, I love his game at the high school level, as far as next level I think he will be a really good NAIA player for 4 years, or a lower level D2 player.

North only has 1 player that is really good, and he is ball dominate. The rest of the kids are overrated and the team plays soft, Ask anyone outside of North Laurel and they will tell you the same
