Impressive resilience shown from the younger Rebels tonight.

Colton Elkins went to the bench in the second quarter with 2 fouls and the Rebels were behind 30-23. Bryce Slone then found his stroke, Dario Delcastillo provided some stability on the floor, Baby J got a little more aggressive on offense and the Rebels zone defense got them back into the game.

The Rebels cut the deficit to 37-35 at the half and when the third quarter began they took the lead halfway through at 44-43 and never looked back.

Bryce Slone finished with 21 points and 4 rebounds on 5/8 shooting from 3 point land and 2/2 from the FT line.

Colton Elkins spent more time on the bench than usual but still finished with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 9 blocks. 8 blocks in the first half.

Baby J chipped in with 13 points and 6 assists.

The stats won't tell the whole story as Josey may have only finished with 3 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists but the stability and leadership he brings to the team is priceless.

Same goes for Dario Delcastillo. The stats won't show how important he was to the team's success tonight but in the time he was on the floor he helped the team immensely with his activity on defense and stability on running the offense.

The same can be said for Jase Sharp and the differnece he made on defense.

Mack Cox added 8 points and 4 rebounds but 3 of those rebounds were offensive rebounds and all 3 of them were HUGE.

Hopefully the Rebels can build off of this performance and keep progressing.

I did mean to mention that also. They protected the ball very well last night and eliminated a lot of silly turnovers they had been making in the previous 3 games.
