I'm not saying a player without the size or speed isn't better than ones who have this. You must look the part to get offers. Meaning speed/size. Undersized OL don't get offers. Why? They may be much better than ones with height/weight. Slow RBs don't get offer. Their numbers and film could be much better than a faster player with half the numbers. Why? I think the speed/size puts you in the game. If you don't have that it just doent matter how good you are.

Not at all I went to dixie as did my son. I love DHHS. The point I was trying to make (and I didn't do well) was. Lots of schools stopping by isn't being recruited.

Also d1 schools showing up at HS is a great think. Dixie last year had around 15 D1 schools show up in the spring. Two kids got offers out of that.

I hope they all land a D1 offer. RB and skill spots are the hardest. Schools recruit from all over the U.S. don't read to much into a JR day. most schools have a 100 kids to such events. You are not being recuirted until you have a offer.

You can get faster. But there is a limit to that. A slow guy doent turn into a very fast guy. There is a genetic limit. You can get stronger but a genetic limit to that also. Im just saying the 1% have genetic gifts that are God given.

Ok, some are better. I'm sure a low number could play at the higher level. Being a D-1 player has almost everything to do with exposure? A kid could have lots of exposure and not fit the mold and never get an offer. I'm just not buying that D-3 is a bunch of underexposed D-1 kids. Drew and Lex went to camps, but so do 1000s of kids that never get offers. Marketing a slow short kid wont get an offer no matter how well its done..

Why didn't you take notes?? agian your friend was born tall and strong. If a D3 kid is outstanding. He will be offered at the D1 level. Ever kid on a D1 roster is all everything. Big fast or has size. Not saying the 1% can't be missed. But kids are not playing D3 beacuse they are being missed. Just not true.

D1 coaches go by this. Said players have to be this size/speed or we don't offer. Don't matter HS numbers. Do you think a school 500 miles away knows the level of play in NKY? Nope. They don't care...

That is not the norm. There isn't lots of kids that got missed. Size/speed first. The rest is 2nd. If you don't project to be what a d1 players is. Then your not a D1 player.

HS number just don't mean that much. a WR can have 100 rec 1000 yard 15 TD and still not get D1 offers if he is slow and short. how does the kid with half the number but 2xs the speed and height go D1?

The thing is. Do you offer a kid full of desire or a kid full of size/speed? I think the rosters show. First if you don't have size/speed. Don't matter on how good you are or desire.

Most FCS full ride guys could have walked on at FBS schools. If not all of them.

All the desire in the wold won't make up for small size to slow!! That's a fact at that level.
