T2P, I can't believe how negative you continue to be about a team in your own district that has advanced to the State Semi's. Instead of being happy for them and rooting them on, you just continue to make one disparaging comment after another about them and their program. One can't help but color your comments as nothing but envy.

I'm not smart enough to give you a number (but I'd guess it was over 6,000), but considering the weather (and the fact that it was 70 the day before [or 40 degrees warmer the day before]), it was the biggest crowd for a CCH game that I could remember. There were people on the stairs up the locker-room and up on the baseball field with the blimp view. That and crowds 4 or 5 deep in both end-zones...it was huge. I'm guessing that tonight in Paintsville it will look similar. :thumb:

In addition, for your listening pleasure, CCH fans can tune in to WKU and Florida on the radio on the drive home.

CovCath fans, please make sure to listen to Nebraska on the Radio on the way down -- just to get you in the mood. I'll be sporting the "Blackshirts" hat proudly tonight proudly in Paintsville. Hope that Hautman's bunch can turn in a "blackshirt" like performance against Grim and the boys. It will take a Ruthian effort to derail this undefeated bunch at home. I literally can't wait!

Since you're taking the shotgun approach, let me clarify. I'm a "CovCath faithful" and my comments were very clearly directed at one of our own. I'm not blaming any other coaches, not even a little. I assume you weren't directing your comments at me, but the shotgun approach tends to hit everyone standing around.

Not following you 86. This was of our own doing, so to speak. I doubt Dale has ever "forgotten" to give a kid a chance at recognition. BF, this has been validated by another Coach, so the info is sadly accurate.

Dale or Tom or Noel or some other coach with some sense nominated him because he's great. That isn't too hard to believe, at least from where I sit.

I'm not close enough to the process to be able to answer that. I know that the rumors were we'd be playing Trinity and LexCath, and while the LexCath game seems to be a done deal, I hadn't heard any more about the 'Rocks.

...and obviously the inverse is correct as well. In fact, CovCath has 5 wins better than JC's "best win." Of course, all of this means NOTHING on Friday night. Like 2Short mentioned, I don't know why we're getting caught up in all of this nonsense when the young men will settle it for us in 3.5 days.
