  1. OTB84 Listen while I'm happy that your growing as a person I'm pretty sure that is in direct violation of the "BGP" rules and I may have to file a formal compliant with the monrator
  2. OK I'll play which one?
  3. unbaised Not aware of any administration issues with him. TBD- I would hate to see any of the coaches that have been mentioned here get let go due to cards issued in a match. Or not winning more games or the big game. All of the teams mentioned had outstanding seasons. Not making any excuses here..... But one of the primary topics / rants on this blog has been the inconsistantency in how games are called...imsays not being negative here just pointing this out. All give you an example here of what I mean. In the JV regional Scott vs. CCH the center carded a CCH player for what I'm not sure buy the way this ref is a pretty good basketball ref. But the entire game he was calling fouls just as if he were calling a game on the hardwood the problem was he wasn't on the hardwood he was on the pitch. I saw examples of this all year in every game. It is very difficult for players to know from one half to the next what is being called and what isn't being called much less from one game to the next . And that is no different for coaches. I'm not saying we shouldn't raise the bar for accountability I'm just saying it seems a little unfair to hold coaches accountable for the inconsistency of refs.
  4. Simmer down folks I was just joking. :jump:
  5. OTB84 I would agree with your comment. Yes I loved the attack however there were times I would have like to have seen a little more movement. Because sometimes a team’s best defense is strong offense. For example a little more movemnet in the CCH match or the Bowling Green match could have made a difference.
  6. flops Where would one hear of such rumors and are any of them Creditable? Just asking!!!
  7. Would the school have to pay $35.00 to be a member?
  8. Did he graduate or transfer.
  9. No I wasn't Mr. imsays wanted to bring it up I'm assuming in an attempt to somehow show I was making negative comments about players, coaches, and refs I guess.
  10. imsays your kidding right In this case all three were wrong and I did not call out a player by name nor did I call the AR by name. And it should also be clear I believe both the Scott player as well as the Cooper player were equally guilty. If I were trying to be negative I would have certainly left the Scott player out of my post. So keep looking imsays you will not see a post where I call out players; coaches or refs by name in an attemp to embarrass them especially when I have no 1st hand knowledge and even if I did I still wouldn't it's just not appropriate. At the end of day these are high school students and coaches that don't even make minimum wage when you add the hours they put in. And more thing don't wait for me to look up your post I'm not interested I'll assume there positive you kmow innocent until proven guilty.
  11. OTB84. I am very proud of theses boys and as the father of one the players I told him I knew it was tough to get that far and not win. But he should be proud of the teams accomplishments and realize you don't always win. I also told him that as tough as it was to hear the better team did win. And if you we're not at the game I recommend watching it on KHSAA. The PURPLES really were exciting to watch.
  12. So it's clear you no have answer. And let me be clear so you don't miss the point. You won't hear me making negative comments about players; coaches; or refs. Let's clear one more thing up the refs had nothing to do with the loss. Bowling Green was the better team there wasn't a weak spot on there team. CONGRATS PURPLES you should be proud of your team. And unlike you imsays I don't need to make excuses. The simple fact Scott got beat by a better team.
  13. So can I assume you have seen all Scott's games RIGHT. And all of every other teams games RIGHT. Or could it be you just want to comment on something yout know nothing about. So who are the good coaches? And can we assume they coach teams that didn't beat your team. So can we also assume he just wined his team to the final. It couldn't have anything to do with his ability RIGHT. Come on imsays GET REAL...
  14. imsays, Are you going to tell us that the Scott coach is the only coach to argue calls made on the field? To suggest that is his MO is a joke. I was at the match and could tell you the Bowling Green coach had several questions concerning calls made on the field. Really....Really....Really.... And guss what I'm not calling him out why you ask because he was coaching his team in a State Final I would expect him to be working the refs If your going to call a coach out then call all soccer coaches out because I haven't seen a match this year including matches where Scott wasn't playing where coaches weren't complaining or working the refs. Get Real imsays....
  15. If he doesn't maybe we can hire you
  16. Your name says it all wannabe. You want to know what's wrong with this post it's you and your lack of claas and your inability to not enjoy the game today. I'm sure those greats you mentioned would be ashamed of you. Do us all favor and just keep your poor attitude and behavior to your self.
  17. Wow I didn't know that. Well if they didn't have plans for Saturday night they do now. I think they should all come down the more the better. I love the student sections and wish them well.
  18. South Oldham without question. They did like to control the ball just like Trinity and even CCH. But the big differenence was their ability to continue attacking and their defense at least in this game was solid. I haven't seen the final game stats yet but I have to believe they had more legit shots on goal than Scott which meant Scott's keeper at times was busy and without him Scott doesn't get the win last night. But in the end in matches like this it often just takes 1. And we were fortunate to get the opportunity on the free kick where Treadway got a good hit on the ball to finish. It was a great match to watch...
  19. South Oldham waa attacking to the end. They were the real deal.
  20. Any updates on the 2nd girls game.
  21. What 50/50 play are you talking about?
  22. spindoc.. Have you seen South Oldham play and if so what style do they play and are an attacking team or more like Trinity who seemed to be ok with just moving the ball around the midfield and wern't real excited to attack unless it was a perfect play?
  23. I know they are using 4 refs 3 on the field and 1 on the sideline. Iwould like to see an addittional ref on the field somewhat like they do in the NBA post season. But I certainly agree with everything else you said here. Thanks for the insight you bring to the BGP I really appreciate it.
