Clay County 2014/2015

Featured Replies

Basketball season for 2014/2015 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Clay County Remember, please be constructive.

Should be a very good team. I know McDaniels leaving will hurt them, but I remember they return a few (maybe more than a few) players including Trey Farmer.

Yes this team should be as good or better than last year's team. They return farmer, smith, and Wolfe. Farmer is good and has the name but Blake Smith is there best player and is probably the best in the region. He has exploded this summer and has several D1 schools looking hard at him. They do not have a big which could hurt . But with the 1-2 punch of Smith and farmer I look for good things from this team

Did he graduate or transfer.

Did he graduate or transfer.

Graduated early. Has a full ride to UK for golf and a brother currently on the team there. Clay County didn't expect to have him at one point early in the year because he'd enrolled in a top golf school in South Carolina before coming back home. Definitely was a huge boost getting him back, and he'll be missed, but with what he was leaving for, it's obviously completley understandable.
