That's the beauty of Drew, he's plugged in where it's needed. Has even played up top when duty calls!

It was actually 1-0 to Salesianum -
It's kinda hard to give details when clearly many people didn't watch the same match. Yes, Trinity played less than desirably. Yes, St Henry played a spirited scrappy game. Two mis-communications between the keeper and the backs created scoring opportunities that the Cru capitalized on. Clearly a PK opportunity, nice 2nd goal by Drew Goetz to knot the match before the end of regulation. Yes the officiating was abysmal. As far as Trinity playing "scrappy and cleaning up their act"??? Hmmm, ask the St. Henry trainer if he thought he was running a MASH unit or triage area behind the Trinity bench? Hate these pointless boards, but I couldn't resist. It's too bad we don't have video playback to illustrate the points. Have a great day everybody!

Soccer is a man's game! Agreed, now lets talk about the definition of a man. A man holds himself with honor, dignity and character and treats other with respect. I would rather lose with character and dignity than win with any of those compromised. There is more to life than wins and losses. Ultimately, sports should teach the highest ideals and form men of character.

The soccer gods have their way of working things out, thank you soccer gods for not having the most cheap, dirty team represent this Commonwealth as champion. Why does everybody on this board try to equate everything representing N.KY? I honestly hope that something good comes out of such a poor display of sportsmanship. Are KHSAA, district and school officials looking at this and wondering how to better control a team? What a disgrace and what a disgrace that the game was-- streamed live and will be on the KHSAA site in perpetuity. I am not from NKY and I am damn glad that Scott is not representing this state. I would seriously question anyone who feels any sort of pride for a team who calls what they do "soccer"?

I have it on video...not 50/50, If this thing would let me upload a video everyone could see it is blatant. To me the, pic looks like it too.

Elite 8: Scott / Trinity predictions

Position?... my position is my couch, with a laptop and the KHSAA website, it's all there. After some comments I decided to look for empirical data. It all boils down to game day though. -

Highlands was 2nd game of season for trinity, CCH was 6th game... kinda like the old story about if my aunt had.... There's a reason the game is played and it will all come out in the wash on saturday. Good luck to both teams -

Trinity 6- Highlands 0/ Scott 2-Highlands 2 Trinity 3- KCD 0/ Scott 2- KCD 1 Trinity 1 CCH 0/ Scott 0- CCH 1 Trinty 5 goals allowed vs. KHSAA opp. / Scott 25 goals against KHSAA opp. All teams have to play weak district/regional foes, usually numbers don't lie. History is usually the best predictor of future performance. -

District/Regional Sites Moved
b0bl0blaw replied to b0bl0blaw's topic in KY Boys Soccer (High School)
Here's what's on KHSAA website regarding specifications for region, semi-state and state: " The games shall be held on a rectangular, 110 to 120 yards long and 65 to 80 yards wide. " -
District/Regional Sites Moved
b0bl0blaw replied to b0bl0blaw's topic in KY Boys Soccer (High School)
Same story in region 7, its coming down...but rumor has it that it will be repealed next year. -
Just curious how many district/regional sites have been moved due to the field specification rulings from KHSAA? I've heard that District 27 and 29 and Region 7 were forced to find alternate sites.
