College signings

Featured Replies

I know this was done in the past, but I can't find it . With some careers coming to an end, I thought I would throw it back out to celebrate the seniors.......

I remember :

Morgan - Marshal

but that is all I remember.........old age.

Would love to hear of any "Louisville recruiting stories"

as for Morgan, if sources are correct he plans to sign Febuary 3rd.

Jonathan Huerta - Oldham County is committed to Eastern Illinois University.

Jonathan Laise - Kentuxky Country Day is committed to Coastal Carolina University.

From what I have heard is that Ricky Clemente from Dunbar has plans to play at Evansville University but hasn't made a commitment yet.

Has Snow from Cooper committed? I realize he's only a junior but...curious.

I know Rob Augspurger from Campbell County recently committed to Thomas More.

Greg Fischer (Trinity) Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville.

Fischer now has 15 goals and 26 assists and has a goal or assist in every game Trinity has played this year except their 1-0 loss to Male (which is there only loss thus far this season).

Drew Goetz - Evansville or Bellarmine.

Heck of a player also. Is Drew playing in the back this year or has he been seeing time in midfield?

Probably a little too early for a commitment, I think it is in his best interest to wait until he is able to drive on his own before he makes his decision.

I couldn't help but notice a local D1 coach attending the match at St Henry last night.

He got a nice glimpse of Snow, for sure!

Hope it was Andy Fleming.

That's the beauty of Drew, he's plugged in where it's needed. Has even played up top when duty calls!

Barring any injuries, it is probably in his best interest to wait until next season to make a commitment. Snow's supporting cast will be better, which I feel will result in more consistent play and better results. His knock this season was that he tends to become lazy. I don't think that happens as much with more solid team around him, enabling him to receive quality attacking options.

I assumed soccer was like basketball in that the time colleges see players is when they are playing club ball. No?

I was thinking the same thing. HS ball is glorified rec soccer. You play with whom you have.

Yes that is 100% correct. Some of those club showcases will be taking place here in the very near future and others will occur in the spring.
