Campbellsville loses several key seniors from last years team. However, they do return 4 of their 5 starting o-linemen and will add a couple of skill kids that didn't play last year. Top to Bottom, team speed may be better than last year. The non-district schedule is interesting with Glasgow, Louisville Holy Cross, Washington Co, Taylor Co, Green Co, Larue Co and Danville. The coaches have changed up the intensity in the weight room to include more cardio and more movement. New leaders are starting to surface and the outlook in C-Ville is good. Looking forward to a fun 2016.

1A - Campbellsville will challenge Russellville for the right to play Beechwood in the west. Pikeville or Hazard should come from the East. 2A - Mayfield, until someone knocks them off 3A - Belfry, refer to above 4A - South Warren has a lot coming back... 5A - Bowling Green, Highlands... 6A - Whoever gets out of Louisville.

General, I agree... C-Ville vs KCD will be a great match-up. A lot of people have dismissed Campbellsville with the loss to Bethlehem. That's what happens when you lose a big game. But, the Purple Circle was tightened after that loss and the Team is working harder than ever. Gonna be a great environment in Louisville this Friday night.

This Friday night at the Stadium of Champions...

So the game was over quick. C-Ville's offense ran 3 plays for 3 TD's in the first 6 minutes of the game... The Eagle Defense was all over the place in the shut-out victory... 6-0 and 1-0 in district play...

Ft Knox comes to town for Homecoming festivities. Eagles lose another weapon with Vonta Cubit's (QB) injury... Adversity...

Kendon Young - torn ACL, and out for the season. Vonta Cubit, 10th grade QB left the game and did not return. But, like I said, the Eagles owned the adversity and fought like warriors.

Eagles grind out a 15-12 win over Green Co to kill the streak. The stadium was packed and chippy.... Already w/out Kendon, the Eagles their starting QB in the second series of the game... Adversity comes in and your forced to fight or fold... Tonight was one heck of a fight. Great work C-Ville... 5-0....
