Where can someone find each ky hs football team 2015 game schedule? I am really interested in the nky 2a schedule specifically. .Thanks...

Isnt Mayfield going in 2a next season? That would leave BW as the class of 1a and MF heads to 2a facing those tough teams out of the west, so BW in all probability only needing 1 more title for 12 should do it first.....I am not a fan of either team, but in ky hs football in general... IMO, the 2a playoffs are gonna be crazy good next year, well at least the west....

This should be a great game. Both teams have had very good years. Ncc has the blueprint for success: strong non-district schedule, strong line play, team speed, and excellent coaching. Their in game adjustments are superb. Newport is big and fast. The wildcats have been on fire since their loss to ncc on a cold rainy night weeks ago, but they must cut down on the turnovers. If this game is on a grass field I would give a slight edge to ncc, but if the game is played at newport stadium, as it should, newport will probably win. Once again, this game could come down to who has the ball last... However, my insticts tell me if ncc cannot contain price and he runs wild then the wildcats win. I have no dog in the fight, I just want to watch a good game. May each team demonstrate good sportsmanship and stay classy whether in victory or defeat.

Newport was notorious for "extra" action or what some would call dirty play back in my day in '92. I hear people say thats how they are and have always been coached at that school. I do not believe for one minute that their coach or anynky high school coach would teach or endorse such methods. IMO teenage boys have trouble at times keeping their composure, especially if they feel they are being targeted or the recipient of dirty tactics, but that stuff does happen in the pile.

What an incredible game. I actually thought and said in the prediction thread that this is gonna be the game to watch in the 2nd round of the playoffs. I also predicted whoever had the ball last would win. The apocolypse must be upon us because I never seem to call these games with complete accuracy. Congrats to both teams on having very good seasons. It is nice to see that the nky 2a district is finally more than just ncc. Not to take anything away from the breds and what they have accomplished; it is just nice to see other 2a teams in this area show how solid they really are.

This should be the best game of the entire 2nd round of the playoffs. I see this as a clash of two really good teams. I think they match up well. Newport tends to play a little bit undisciplined at times and Walton Verona has bad lapses on special teams (at times). This game should be close and may come down to who has the ball last. My son thinks Newport is gonna win by at least 2 scores.... I dont see that, not on a cold night at WV.

Most of Lloyd's varsity starters are sophmores, juniors, and some key freshman. There are only a few seniors on the team. Yes, loosing Molitor to graduation stings a bit, but next years starter at qb should be #14 , RUNION. He is a tremendous athlete. I compare his game to newport's Price. Coach Turner has the program heading in the right direction with a much harder nondistrict schedule starting next year (the team has just finished up coach Stratton's schedule). I think this team will improve to the point that the 2016 will be a strong contender for Lloyd's third state title.I know many NCC fans will laugh at this, but if they keep their talent in Erlanger, watch out.
