26 minutes till kickoff

Does your school have an open date during fall break or do they play? If they play, do they seem to play any better or worse that week? Franklin-Simpson is not playing on fall break Friday this year, but they have played during the break several times the last few years and sometimes seemed like they were not themselves that game.

I saw them here at Franklin-Simpson the first game of the year. They were faster than FS, which shocked me as that rarely happens. Jay Becherer at RB is probably the best player on the team. I could tell they had a lot of experience because they played an almost mistake-free game. They returned all but one starter from last year I think. They can run it or pass it. They didn't seem to be huge in the lines but they were very effective. Ran some wing t but also had a lot of shotgun snaps as well.

JC is still the heavy favorite. I don't think they will win their last 3 playoff games 150-0 like last year, but it will be a shock if they don't repeat.

When does basketball tip off?

ACS usually brings their A-game against FS. Their passing attack will present a good challenge for the Wildcats. FS experience against other shotgun teams will help them in this one. I think FS offense will be more than ACS can handle. I'll take FS by 2 TDs
