I’ve been waiting all year for the “same old Kentucky” to show up but except for the second half against Alabama we haven’t seen it. If Baxter had played this game probably wouldn’t have been this close but Patterson did well in the second half.

Final score Logan County wins 40-19. Franklin-Simpson will miss the playoffs for the first time in about 35 years.

There is no practical school choice in several counties in Kentucky. There is only one option for those kids to play football and that is the only school in town. I have felt for a long time that those schools should be in a different division, maybe a class for the larger schools and a class for the smaller schools. Several years ago I counted and there were about 60 schools that fit that description. Then the other schools could be placed in four classes, keeping the six we have now. Fleming County will never have the talent pool there that CAL enjoys, but they are both in 3A.

Warren East wins 31-28. When FS loses to Warren East it means FS is having a terrible year.

Horrible defense and special teams for Franklin-Simpson. Offense is good if they can hold on to the football. FS will go winless at home this year as they have absolutely no shot at beating Glasgow. Will get blown out by Logan County. Only hope for FS to even make the playoffs is if they can beat Calloway County and Allen County-Scottsville on the road. The program has gone downhill drastically.
