  1. Watched the Cooper squad practice yesterday. Coach Borchers was intense. He's not going to let these kids take Grant County lightly. They'll be ready for Friday night if they survive this week with their HC. lol Final regular season home game for them and it's senior night.
  2. I wondered about that myself but I will bow to the greater wisdom of those that do the ranking
  3. Cooper's Defense is back to pretty much full strength. I don't think Grant County will be able to put up 20 against the Cooper D like they did last week against Conner. Cooper goes 3-1 District on the strength of the defense and their strong fan support that always turns out for the home games.
  4. You didn't answer the question. So I'll ask it again in case you just missed it. Is England better than Powell?
  5. They stopped Powell. What did he have 95 yards in 25 carries? less than 4 yards per carry. Are you saying England is better than Powell?
  6. So if I read this correctly and understood it correctly. Which I'm not claiming either. If Cooper beats Grant, then they have a #number 2 spot locked up regardless? My head is hurting already.
  7. I'm not so sure Scott will beat Conner. Conner has been playing some pretty good football their last few games. Scott got blown out by Cooper, Conner played Cooper tough. Conner beat South Oldham. Scott lost to South Oldham and from the game thread the only thing I saw was Scott and S.O. both had one TD called back due to penalties. The terrible field conditions at Grant County last night I'm sure hurt both teams. We don't know how much Conner could have won by on a field in good shape. I see the more likely scenario being South Oldham, Cooper, Conner being 3-1 and Scott 2-2. With the three 3-1 teams all having beat each other. I have no idea who gets district title out of that, the tie breaking rules all make my head hurt. lol
  8. that's just wrong. :lol2:
  9. Aren't they 2-1 in District? Beat South Oldham, Lost to Cooper, Beat Grant County. Don't they still have Scott to play? South Oldham is 3-1 in District, Cooper 2-1 with Grant County remaining.
  10. Highlands Dixie Beechwood Simon Kenton Ryle Cooper
  11. NKY High School Football - Simon Kenton vs Dixie - TEAM 1
  12. Watching this one online. It looks like the SK defense forgot their gavel on Dixie's first drive.
  13. I believe Cooper's team has a soccer player as a kicker
  14. They didnt do films saturday. They are doing them tuesday. Fortunately for the players. I watched the game online. Again cooper had to start a backup corner on that side of the field as their usually starting corner was still out. No excuse, he has been there for now his third full game, but still it didnt help. Its a game cooper should have and could have won.
  15. 27-21 final South Oldham
