I will ignore the ignorance in your post, but in case anyone is interested he broke his foot back in the summer(hair line fracture) and had to have surgery. He has only been cleared about a week ago but he had been in a boot for a while and he still has a couple weeks more rehab before he is ready to go.

Final both teams looked really good and athletic. If fren creek shoots the 3 like they did tonight they will be hard to beat. I was also really pleased with cordia playing with out oumar keita being able to compete with a top 15 team. Keita is still probably still a couple weeks away from being able to play close to 100%. When he gets healthy cordia will be really good.

They are close probably could still pick 2 or 3 games.

Cordia defeated Trinity today 62-56 in overtime. Cordia also played without 2 starters. Trinity can light it up from three. A couple times in the first half trinity went up 11 in what seemed to be a minute. Cordia is really athletic at every position. When cordia gets their other 2 starters back in the line up they should be really good. Trinity's fans are a class act.

Yes they did but it could be a long day for them. They will be playing without 2 starters and a key reserve. Zeke bialias had his wisdom teeth taken out Wednesday and Oumar Keita just got cleared Monday to play from a foot injury. Those two especially hur because of size. Oumar has gained 30 pounds since last season and it's not fat he has really filled out and has probably grown a couple inches. I saw him last week and I think he is a legit 7'0" and Zeke Bialias is 6'7". They will still have some size Malik Henery 6'7" and guard Anthony Nelson 6'4" and Ramon Mercedo "MOMO" is 6'3". I don't know how big trinity is but I am sure they can shoot and are very good. Cordia will still be athletic but will be really short handed but hopefully will be able to compete.

Patfan you need to get your facts straight he is elidigible he played last year. If you don't know who he is you need to get out more.

I can promise you Middle Tennessee is hard after him. They invited him down 3 or 4 weeks ago to the Vanderbilt football game. They introduced him at half time of the game and really rolled out the red carpet. The head coach calls him at minimum 2 times per week. The head coach told me that he was their number 1 target nation wide. This kid is the real deal. The MTSU coach says he expects him to blow up over the next year and he thinks if they don't get him early they won't have a chance. I know some on her will probably think I am blowing smoke but I am telling you this boy is on the same level as quinton goodin or David slone from Taylor co. He is 6'4" with a 6'8" wing span. That measurement was taken at a MTSU camp he went to back in the spring. He is head and shoulders above anyone in the 14th and I don't mean that to put anyone else down that is just a fact. They will be playing several games in Lexington and louisville this year don't take my word for it come out and see for yourself.

BTW it was Julian Tackett that told the cordia crew when they were down there for their June meeting to write a letter and request to be put on the agenda and told them what to say and said he couldn't promise anything but they had done everything that had been asked of them. Take it for what it's worth.

Tuesday 0800HRS they should know something that day. They have a couple of the seniors going up there for the meeting. I hope the get reinstated to play post season but they have nothing to loose. They still have the season. I am optimistically pessimistic if that makes any sense. It would not surprise me either way what they will do. Anyone who thinks the board of control has a say in it has been smoking something it's all about what Jullian Tackett wants.

The thing that is even more of a joke to me than them being ranked #9 in a weak 14th region is that 3 kids :Oumar Keta, Ramon Merceda,and Anthony Nelson all have D1 offers are not even listed in the top ten players in a region that is very talent anemic. I could see if they did not want to rank them because the are IE for post season play then don't rank them,but if you are going to rank them then give them their due. The catspause just lost a lot of credibility to me. What a joke.

Not unless they meet in the 5th 3rd bank tournament at Lexington chatohlic. Cordia has made several efforts to play but BB king is not interested. The county athletic director even wanted to play a scrimmage at knott co central and split the gate but still no interest. If by some chance cordia does get reinstated for post season play next Tuesday it will be slow riding and sad singing for a lot of teams in the 14th.

That old hindman gym is really cool I have played many a game in that gym in grade school. It is just like going back in time. The dressing rooms were just like out of the Hoosiers movie. One of my best grade school memories in that gym was beating an un defeated Carr creek elementary when I was in 6th grade thay had a power house. Just any FYI one of the stars on that grade school team was the son of one or the Carr creek state champs Starr James estil Adams son of estil Adams they also had michal potter he got a scholarship to west point for football. Both were grow men in grade school. Cordia's gym is probably the only gym other than hazard that Carr creek and Hindman played in. There is not many of these old treasures left. Cordia is talking about building a new gym and lord knows they need one but I just like that nostalgic feel.

No they did not the superintendent waited until the 30 day time limit to appeal had passed and then said it would be ok to go ahead with it. By that time they could not proceed.

I am just saying if the khsaa were mad at cov cath they would make it an issue. They do what ever they want and don't have to answer to anyone. Until someone takes them to federal court like Tom Brady did the NFL they will continue to do so. There is no due process in their system.

It's all in who you are. If this were cordia having this deal the whole state would be on the brink of all out war. When cordia got in trouble on their trumped up charges the khsaa found cordia guilty on something that a private independent 3rd party individual-orgizanation did. I don't see how this is any different. The khsaa said they had violated whatever number bylaw it was that the basketball players can't get any special treatment that was not offered to the rest of the student body. I know everyone can't play basketball but cordia was told if their ball team went on a trip and somebody bought a kid a big Mac that was a violation. Come on man! It looks like to me somebody got their palms greased(khsaa). I am happy for the kids but I don't see how that's fair.

Casey co may very well have a kid from NYC. I can promise you he was not suppose to go to cordia that is an absolute 100% misrepresentation of the truth or in other words a lie.

As of right now cordia home game will be played at the old hindman gym. They have 24 games scheduled. I am told they are waiting on the outcome of the next board of control meeting to finish the scheduling. They have several that are not listed because the dates are not finalized. They have a home and away with Ballard a home with southwestern and as of Friday they added buckhorn away in February. They are trying to get a game with PRP on the weekend the go down to play Ballard.

Cordia is playing mercer co in one of these events Feb 13 I don't know who else is in it.
