Did Cordia take the place of Wesley Christian?

Yes they did but it could be a long day for them. They will be playing without 2 starters and a key reserve. Zeke bialias had his wisdom teeth taken out Wednesday and Oumar Keita just got cleared Monday to play from a foot injury. Those two especially hur because of size. Oumar has gained 30 pounds since last season and it's not fat he has really filled out and has probably grown a couple inches. I saw him last week and I think he is a legit 7'0" and Zeke Bialias is 6'7". They will still have some size Malik Henery 6'7" and guard Anthony Nelson 6'4" and Ramon Mercedo "MOMO" is 6'3". I don't know how big trinity is but I am sure they can shoot and are very good. Cordia will still be athletic but will be really short handed but hopefully will be able to compete.

So Cordia plays at 2?

JC lost by 6 to Capital High from Charleston, WV. Had a 1 point lead with under a minute to play. Not too bad considering JC was down two starters (Tyler Pack football, Josh Hitchcock knee injury) and missing key reserves (Steven Gound, Tyrese Allen, Evan Adkins) who are all playing football.

 

Mason Blair led JC with 27 points. Dalton Collins came off the bench for 12 rebounds and the rest of the team had solid days as well. When JC gets full strength they will be just fine (Hitchcock expected back late January after minor knee surgery - meniscus).

JBS defeated Pikeville 81 to 56. Dont have results of SC vs. Hazard.
