Final both teams looked really good and athletic. If fren creek shoots the 3 like they did tonight they will be hard to beat. I was also really pleased with cordia playing with out oumar keita being able to compete with a top 15 team. Keita is still probably still a couple weeks away from being able to play close to 100%. When he gets healthy cordia will be really good.

He has only been cleared about a week ago but he had been in a boot for a while and he still has a couple weeks more rehab before he is ready to go.

On to the game.....Anthony Nelson is a very good player for Cordia. He is a strong CG that when he is allowed to go left is almost always going to score or go to the line. He had 28 and 12 rebounds with 10 of those points coming from the line. Shot great from the FT line and was the Game MVP chosen for Cordia.

 

Fern Creek made 11 3 point shots. Anthony Wales was 5/9 and Tony Washington was 3/6. Washington scored 13, Sophomore Ahmad Price had 11, and Sophomore Anthony Wales had 25 in the win. Wales was chosen for the Game MVP for Fern Creek. Fern Creek plays Trinity this coming Saturday which could come down to which team hits the most 3's as they both shoot the long ball well.

Well this is productive conversation about the Fern Creek and Cordia game.

The game was a really good HS basketball game. Cordia has a new big guy about 6'5" or maybe 6'6" but he is built like a football linebacker. He jumps well and is skilled. He is going to make them much tougher.

his name is Malik Henry he is actually 6'7" and has worked really hard getting in shape he hasn't played ball in a couple of years he is a junior and has lost 30 pounds since he got here. He had a double double 13 pts 10 reb. I thought cordia represented their self well considering they don't have one of their best player right now Oumar Keita.
