George Rogers Clark against Scott (Predictions)
soccerforlife replied to Yellow Card's topic in KY Boys Soccer (High School)
If you consider GRC's normal keeper to be Gaunce then no and I do not believe we will see him in goal on Thursday either. Apparently GRC's coach believes it is smarter to play with a Freshman in goal and Chandler on the field. -
I just labeled it as it was labeled in the email

Sorry for any spelling errors....list was copied and pasted from email.

List was emailed to the coaches

I am more than happy to answer a few of your questions. I have never had issues with saying who I am. I keep the stats for Scott. A student kept them last year and they were never turned into KHSAA. Before that the Coach (not our current coaching staff) kept them and he inflated them as has been mentioned on here. Before that coach I kept stats for the team. I have played the game, coached the game, and been a licensed referee. I do not show bias and I will not award anything that isn’t earned feel free to ask any or all of the boys. If there is a question about a stat it is discussed between me and the coaching staff. On a side note Morgan earned 16 assists last year that were recorded by the student keeping stats but as I mentioned were never turned into KHSAA. -
Not sure if you will get to see Gaunce in goal or not....GRC coach made him play on the field tonight.

Covington Catholic at Scott predictions
soccerforlife replied to Oldtimebaseball84's topic in KY Boys Soccer (High School)
I was told that JV will have to play on the grass due to a Frosh Football game. If both teams and refs agree to wait till the football game is over Varsity will move to the turf but I am told that it could mean an 8pm start. -

Check again, maybe put on your reading glasses....and I will repeat, no repeat offenders from last year to this year....so why do you want to insist that no one olds them too it?? I wasn't aware you were invited to the meetings between the players, AD, and Coaching staff. -

Sure, but what does a "legit red card" mean? In the past 2 years I have only seen 2 red cards issued to Scott that I felt were an embarrassment but to me they were an embarrassment to those boys not our program. Both were issued to kids that let anger get the best of them and I have seen that happen at several NKY schools over the past two years not just Scott. The Coach, the AD, the kid's parents, can't be on the field with them. The player makes that kind of decision on his own and he has to take responsibility for it. -

Top-Ranked Men’s Soccer suffers 3-1 loss to 11th-ranked Rio Grande on Saturday night in NAIA Game of the Week The physical game saw 36 total fouls, 18 to each team, along with nine total yellow cards Came across this the other day couldn't help but wonder if this game had been played out with our HS refs just how many red cards would have flown..... -

GRC goalkeeper has received 2 red cards....first was for a tactical foul second red card was a double yellow that happened during a pk....GK was doing his normal pre-shot routine and ref carded him for delay of game....then when GK tried to explain what he was doing and why he was issued the second yellow for dissent. -
My record shows 4 Boys Varsity red cards issued to Scott this season-- 2 issued in the Boone Co game, 1 issued in the Ballard game, and 1 in the Cooper game
-
ok I stand corrected it was about 60 yards out :ohbrother:
-
Schneider scored about 4 minutes into the first half with the assist from Morgan and Evans scored about 30 minutes into the second half off a free kick from around the 60 yard line.
-
OH MY GOODNESS....this is so comical I can not even respond. Have a good day everyone!

Scott ends Cooper's winning streak today by a score of 2 to 0

No it was not the one from Ryle, he may talk a little more than needed but you certainly can not compare him to the announcer from Ryle. We greatly appreciate him coming and doing our games at Scott as his son graduated last year. I believe he is simply trying to have a little fun with it and I don't blame him for that at all. Not picking on you oldtime I know you weren't there.
