Cordia didn't win the Webster county classic, Clay county did, they both finished with a 3-0 record, but Cordia lost 2 quarters of play wherr as Clay lost only won and was awarded the championship.

Farmer is there 2nd leading scorer and leading rebounder was ejected 2 games ago with 2 technicals. So he will miss the Boyle County game Saturday. Arnold has been out 2 weeks and is expected to miss 2 more weeks, he is the 6th man. We did get House back this week from knee injury. He is not 100% but has been cleared to play.

Arnold is out injured and Farmer is serving a suspension.

I think the region is the best it has been 1 -7 in many years. There's no doubt that it will. I think from 3 thru 8 there's not a 2 or 3 point difference in any of those teams. I still think that at full strength it's Clay and Knox and then everyone else. Gonna be a fun year in the 13th.

Looks about right. No grips from me this time. I wish Clay was at full strength now. Would have like to seen what they looked like against some good teams with all their horses. And Williamsburg is better than I thought.

I agree with the above statement that Clay is an above average team without Farmer. But in all honesty they are a totally different team as well. WJ blanketed Smith all night with 3 defenders. As soon as he made his move they would collapse in with 2 defenders. Now if Farmers on the Court and you do this he will make you pay from 3. Last night clay didn't make any shots when Smith would kick it out. Also Farmer will handle the point some and give Smith off the ball opportunities. They made Blake work extremely hard for his 19 last night. I thought the coaches game plan was spot on. Smith is good but he can't score on 3 defenders. With farmer on the court you have to pick your poison. Do you want to concentrate on Smith or Farmer. Which ever one doesn't get doubled is gonna make you pay. IMO if Clay's at full strength that beat WJ 9 out of 10.

Yeah he was swatting them all over the gym. He was in foul trouble and couldn't be as aggressive as normal. He had 7 or 8 shots go in and out. But him and Wolfe both played well. I don't know the stats but I'd say west Jessamine hit 17 or 18 threes.

CLAY was out rebounded 37 to 19 in this one. And West Jessamine shot the lights out of the 3 . CLAY missed Farmer no doubt about it. But the way WJ played I don't know if it would have mattered. Clay had a ton of shots go in and out. No excuses here they got beat fair and square. Clay had big games from Wolfe and Smith . Smith had 19 pts and 12 blocks. Both made all tourney team

Well Clay could very well fall today with the Suspension of Farmer against West Jessamine and then against Boyle. If Clay can win the next 2 games missing their 2nd best player and 6th man I will be quite impressed. Look for huge games from Smith and Wolfe if clay can survive.

Worst officiated game I have ever seen on both ends. Farmer did deserve his election but the refs was letting this game be played like the WWE. And Farmer just lost his cool. Blake Smith stepped up and controlled the game from the 3rd quarter on. Harlan was playing a box and chaser on him and he took it to them. Made nice passes when it wasn't there and when it was he did what he needed to do. He also had 6 blocks tonight. I thought Sexton played a huge game on the boards and making tough plays . Clay will really have to step up tomorrow without farmer.

I 100 % agree Fire. I have been bashed on here for saying Broughton isn't as good as the hype. There is no way this kid can play High level D1 ball. I think a place like WKU or NKU is his ceiling. He's a fine player don't get me wrong. And I have preached the defense for 2 years.

I'll tell u why the kids from a north didn't play defense in the 4th. Would you want to play defense on a team where your teammate shot over 20 shots in the first half while the rest of the team had maybe 12 shot attempts combine. North has major chemistry problems. They would rather showcase 1 player then play team ball and win. Just look at their record. With that size the shouldn't lose very many games at all.

Williamsburg has played a bunch of cupcakes to this point. And in all honesty there whole schedule is fairly easy.... Clay could very well lose this weekend in the Berea Invitational, they are without 2 starters due to injury. If they get through this weekend they shouldn't make it much longer as there January schedule is really tough.

Williamsburg is still undefeated in the 13th as well.
