If you play Lafayette in a physical game, SK wins this ball game. They have quick, fast athletes on defense, but lack in size. On offense, If SK can match Lafayette athletic receivers and play them physical off the line and reroute them, then SK win. Bottom line, Lafayette is a finesse team and not very physical. Lafayette does have a big O- line.

How so? Please elaborate? I mean Lafayette, Henry Clay and Boyle Co are all artificial turf team and played on GRC's natural grass and won. I understand Ryle is not the caliber of those teams I mentioned.. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's playoffs and there is really no home field advantage, except for teams that travels hours and hours to their location. Perhaps travel fatigue.

Honest question cause I did not know that the kid's helmet was ripped off. Was the helmet taken off prior to him passing the ball or after? Also what the rule if a player losses his helmet? Play is dead? like in college..

Believe me, I did not call out Central Hardin. Hardin County Preps is trying to make a point about how no other teams can hang with them and even called out a couple of programs stating that they can not play to Central Hardin's level. Alrighty then. Time will tell. I have no doubt that they are the real deal. You can't go 10-0 with having a decent team.

^^ Wait! This is the same Central Hardin that struggled against a non playoff 4A team ( Mercer Co. ) right? So 2 things that would indicate why they are 10-0. They play a cupcake schedule and/ or if a weak Mercer Co played them well and that same Mercer Co was crushed by Boyle Co and Lex Catholic, then these 2 teams can take on that powerhouse Central Hardin. What do you think about my analogy?

Is that the same Meade Co that Lafayette played at Meade a few years back and took their hearts? That was an average 7-6 Lafayette team that came in and took the thunder from Meade.. I believe so

Has it been 8 straight? I guess playing them in the regular season is as important than playing BG in the CHAMPIONSHIP game. See I'll take 1 game and beating them in a championship game than 8 straight regular meaningless game.

What is wrong with scheduling BG? Programs like Saint X, Trinity, FT Highlands and BG included only schedules the best non district schedule to prep them for the upcoming playoffs. And so what if X has lost to them 4 straight years? Lex Cath has lost to BG 3 straight and that only makes Lex Cath better in the playoff run ( ie 3 straight state semi's ) for Lex Catholic. Scheduling cupcakes won't make your team better and go far in the playoffs.

Another tough test for the Tigers. Finish strong this season and have a goo 2015 season.

Quarter and a half at Lafayette vs Campbell Co. Then walk down the street and catch the 3 quarter on of the Lex Catholic and Clay game. I can't sit and watch Lafayette band. It's too pageantry.

From what I know... LB Mitchell ( hamstring ), LB Boling ( shoulder ), LB Foster ( ankle, concussion ) LB Pedrche ( ankle ) Safety Couch ( ankle ) CB Griggs ( concussion ). On offense we missed maybe half a ball game from linemen Carpenter and QB Ryan. Those defensive players have missed a significant amount of games, but all have been back and healthy I say right after the Boyle Co game. If I am wrong, please correct me.

So does Scott Co, Wooford, Bourbon Co, Paris HS, Clark Co, both Jessamine schools, but they never consider them Lexington schools. LOL
