  1. Td JC. 2 pt conversion no good JC 20 GC 6
  2. 74 yrd run for Ratliff to inside Greenup 20. 1st and 10 JC
  3. Greenup forced to punt. Punt downed inside JC 5 yrd line
  4. 3rd and 8 JC throws a half back pass to Blanton for a JC td. JC 14 GC 6
  5. Both teams drive down to score on their opening drive but GC misses PAT. Jc 7 GC 6
  6. Ill say it... Ashland is good enough to beat Scott without their 2 big studs. Ashland has as much talent top to bottom as any 4a team in the state. Even without those 2 they are still 2-3 tds better than Rowan Co. As far as someone talking about Ashland giving up the same amount of yds as Scott.... Here's the difference. When Rowan was putting up yrds on Ashland it was against the Jv.
  7. Your right. I stand corrected. It was 0-0 with under a minute to play in the first half and Baker picked it off and ran it back 85 or so yrds.
  8. Greenup is not a bad football team if they can ever put together a solid offensive game to go with their D they would be very dangerous. Harrison County game was sloppy. They loaded the box on us and did a good job of holding on to the ball and keeping it out of our offenses hands.
  9. Must be thinking of the Ashland game. Look im very realistic in Greenups chances. I also know that our kids play hard and played fairly solid game defensively against JC. Id say it will end up the same as last game. I just dont see JC with a running clock by halftime
  10. 14-6 at the half of the first game...
  11. I feel the same way. Hopefully Ashland plays the way they can and sets up "The Rematch".
  12. Coach Love said they are a run heavy team which benefits the Ashland D. Id let em both sit also. I think the defense can control the game for them and Ashland is not short on weapons on offense.
  13. Nice job Musketeers! Big test next week but one is for sure were going to play hard and JC will get our best shot.
  14. Rowan is up at half on Scott. Maybe we can complete a district sweep.
  15. Id love to have any film of Greenup from 03'-05'.
  16. Im not sure thats true.... It close but id give the edge to Greenup in strength of schedule playing JC and Ashland. Harrisons offense has big play ability but I dont think their defense can stop anybody. Greenup has proven the whole year they can play with the explosive offenses. Dont think Harrison scores enough to beat Greenup.
  17. Just going off of the stats it seems Harrison struggles to stop the run. They definitely have some playmakers but if Greenup limits big plays I say they control the game and win. Greenup 34 Harrison 20
  18. Both would be great assets. Hopefully the numbers as a whole keep going up. With more depth I feel Greenup would be entering the playoffs with an 8-2 record. 3 of our losses I feel was just a matter of just wearing down.
  19. If thats the case they will need to shut Greenup out bc I doubt Greenup gives up very many points.
  20. Like I said back when Raceland played Valley you wont know how good they are until they play Wheelersburg. That being said Wheelersburg blew them out. Dont look for a deep run from the Indians IMO
