Boyle County 2015 Schedule
Jack Lambert replied to All State Baseball's topic in KY Football (High School)
Don't really want to join this argument, but the last time I recall Pulaski beating Boyle or being competitive with Boyle was never.PC has two good season's and you act like Boyle is running from them when you've played in 8 state championships and won 7 of them then you can get cocky. Boyle's schedule IMO is stronger than Pulaski's so give it a rest. -

In football Lex Cath is Boyle's biggest rival and has been for awhile, The Rivalry with Danville has faded. -
Mercer County available; Chris Pardue steps down

Has anyone mentioned Dudley Hilton's name yet? -
Since I don't know the names of all the male students at Danville I don't have a clue who could help them, my post info came from parents of former players I know who have family still enrolled at Danville, and my wife and brother in law have Two state title rings for the Ads she was a trainer for Danville while he was a 3 year starter for the Ads in the early 90's I believe. They have family and friends that still go to Danville or still keep up with the program.

I've been told by several of the Danville faithful that over the past several years that the talent is walking the halls and not playing football anymore if this is the case it's up to the coaching staff to generate interest in the football program again.

I did not say Chris was coming back for sure, I simply made a comment about pardue not being happy at Mercer and PP immediately assumed my source was just giving an opinion and that he was wrong. In closing I'm not saying I know more than anyone but I do work for Boyle county schools and I know a lot of people involved with the program, as far as pardue goes I'm sure it's all just speculation at this point I guess we'll find out when an announcement is made.
-
You need to realize just because you think it or it's your opinion it doesn't allways make you right there are other people in The know about Boyle co football not just you. He said there would be an announcement after Christmas, and he didn't say for sure Pardue was coming but he does know Chris Pardue and Chuck Smith well so I'll take his word for what he says.
-
Well his opinion or not he knows Pardue well enough to know the situation, and if the man says Chris is not happy then I'm sure Chris has told him this. Sometimes people assume to know to much about a situation or what another person is thinking or what they actually know, and you know what they say usually happens when you start assuming.

I ran into a good friend this morning who's a former board member at Boyle and still a big supporter of the football program I asked him about Chris Pardue to Boyle county all though he wouldn't give me a definite answer he did say it was a good possibility, and I'm sure he knew more than he was telling me he did add that he was sure Pardue wasn't happy at Mercer.

What To Expect Next Year in the New 3A?
Jack Lambert replied to ATLCat's topic in KY Football (High School)
Don't get me wrong I've rooted for Belfry every time they played Central I met some of their fans at the Garrard game a few years ago some of the best most passionate fans I've ever met, and I have the up most respect for their program they have great tradition, but so does Boyle the Rebels have won 7 state titles so we have some tradition to. I'm not trying to take anything away from Belfry all I'm trying to say is with the edition of Boyle and Lex Cath Life in 3A just got a whole lot tougher. In closing to the best of my knowledge Boyle has never lost to Central no matter who their coach was 3A is gonna be fun the next 4 years. -

The past 2 years I think anyone of the top 4 or 5 teams in 4A would have won the 3A title. -

I'm not saying Boyle and Lex Cath will dominate 3A, but IMO the days of Belfry and Central dominating 3A are over they have some competition now, I wish Boyle and Lex Cath were on different sides of the bracket like they use to be that way Belfry would have some competition before they got to the title game. -

I agree those Bell teams were strong and I don't think Belfry has had a team that could play with those Bell teams, IMO the reason Bell hasn't dominated 3A is the absence of Dudley Hilton less face it Bell has not been the same since Dudley left. I think Belfry and Central's undoing will be the lack of a passing game Boyle has one of the best run defense's in the state year in and year out, and Boyle owned Central the last time they were in 3A, and I think Boyle will only get better now that Chuck is back. -

Lex cath has won 6 out of the last 7 from 2011 to 2014, From 2008 to 2010 Boyle won 6 in a row in 2013 Boyle won the only meeting. -
