To answer your question about Robbins he's playing less on defense this year I think Smith may have read your posts last year LOL.

I think Corbin will have to have some balance on offense if not Danville will load the box and stop the run if the ADS manage to stop the run it could be along night for the hounds. I think Danville will have a decided speed advantage on Corbin, but if Corbin can keep the ADS speed in check and move the ball effectively then Corbin could win either way I think it's gonna be a close game.

I'll take Boyle 45 to 17 I know Anderson is usually hard to defend but I also think Boyle is on another level this year.

You may be right, but I've been told that a lot of the talent is walking the halls at Mercer and has been since the merger.

IMO I think it would be like mercer I'm not sure you could get the kids to play together although there would be tons of talent and potential.

I sure hope it never happens if so I hope my kids have graduated.

I don't know about Danville, but I would think it's been like boot camp at Boyle.

Not saying you're wrong, but I've been hearing this for the last 20 to 25 years and in my opinion their is to much dislike between the powers that be for this to happen I think Danville will stay an independent for many years to come.

I graduated in 1983, and things were really bad back then and most of the rumors you heard were true.

I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I agree with a strong freshman class that went undefeated as 8th graders and this years 8th grade class which in my opinion could be the best I've ever seen at Boyle the 6th & 7th grade classes are loaded with talent the future looks bright for Boyle co football.

I give you are probably right Danville has one of the best defenses in the state, and the losses to Danville are the only ones the Rock and Larue will suffer in the regular season.

How could you forget Jeff Duggins he was undefeated as Boyles starting QB he was 45 - 0 with 3 state titles and was named Mr football his senior year. IMO the best to ever wear the Black and Gold of Boyle county he was a first team all state LB as well as first team all sate QB.

That stretch included a 48 game win streak, and handing Highlands the worst loss they've ever suffered in a state title game which I believe was 44 to 10. At one point I believe Boyle was ranked in the top 10 nationally by USA today.

Then you know the level of competition has not been very good, just because you've been there dose'nt mean that Danville's defense has done a 180 since last season. IMO you have no way of knowing because Larue and the Rock are not very good teams.

I don't see him having much time to set up and throw Boyle's defensive front has been really good at pressuring the QB the first two games.

I picked Boyle 45 to 17 IMO strength of schedule will make a big difference in this game I know it's early, but I think Danville would be 0-2 if they had played Boyles schedule, let's not forget how bad Danville's defense was last year, and against good competition I don't see it being any better this year considering how many sophomores and freshman they are playing on defense. I'm sure Danville has improved since last year, but I think Boyle is light years ahead of last year on both sides of the ball I could be wrong it wouldn't be the first time.

I think Danville has 15 seniors on the roster this year, and if almost half their starting defense is sophomores they may give up a lot of points this season.
