I think that Beechwood will probably be a little higher on the list next year as they have most of their team returning, I believe. I think they will be ahead of Conner and Cooper at the start of the year. Cooper loses a decent amount, and I believe Conner does as well. I am guessing Highlands will be a little higher on the list as well. My guess: 1.) Ryle 2.) SK 3.) CovCath 4.) Beechwood 5.) Highlands 6.) Conner 7.) Cooper 8.) Campbell County 9.) Dixie 10.) NewCath

I, personally, do not know how you can convict on no physical evidence, no real circumstantial evidence in my opinion, other than he lied, and a made up story about triple dipping that has no substance to it and they have found no evidence of him doing so. Do I think Dooley did this? I think there is a strong possibility. Do I think the prosecution did enough to get a conviction? Not a snowball's chance in hell. They basically convicted him based off of leaving the scene, finding the body, and lying about why he left. I just have a hard time accepting that.

I know it really isn't relevant to the topic here, but I would like to see a shot clock implemented into high school ball here. I think that would be awesome, but other than that, I like the basketball format just the way it is.

Not that it matters, but BG didn't dominate Scott with their bigs, and Cooper rebounds and plays better D then Scott. Cooper also beat Scott by like 25, which again doesn't matter but just makes me wonder why you think BG will have such an advantage? The rebounding statistic from Cooper last night was a little skewed. The first 4 minutes Cooper got out-rebounded by like 10, then it was fairy even the rest of the night. I think you will see the two bigs tested for BG because they are going to have to guard on the perimeter!!! 5 point game either way, depending on who imposes their will in the speed of the game

I really like Cooper's chances if........they are able to slow FC down a little but and force them into some jump shots. In my opinion, Fern Creek does not shoot the ball very well and wants to get their offense going in transition and athleticism. If Cooper can slow the pace down and get back in transition and force FC into some sets, I really like Cooper's chances because of their ability to lock you down defensively. I think the fact that Cooper plays so much different than Ballard and Trinity and FC that it could be in their advantage! My prediction is simply this... If Cooper can force FC to play at their pace, they win by 4-6. If FC is able to speed Cooper up and get into a shoot out, FC by 8-10. Got to be a homer and go with my boys, they are on a mission right now. Cooper by 5 because why the heck not??

I totally understand your point there about speaking to the area of the state most tuned in. Just wanted to plug my boys in there lol. You did great work and were very insightful! Should be a fun five days with as many as six or so teams that can make a run and cut down the nets on Sunday!! I like it, but I think you are underselling Cooper a little. Cooper is on probably the hottest streak in the state, winning like 22/23 games with the only loss being a 3 point loss at CovCath. Other than that I thought you did a fantastic job sir

Any chance one of the assistants at Cooper puts in for it? I know they have Ryan Bowmen on staff who was at Conner last year and Holthaus is one of the top JV coaches in the area, wonder if they have any interest

While I am sure he is a good player, and I mean no disrespect to the other players, that tells me there is not a ton after him. Unless this kid is going to score 40, I like Cooper's chances in this one! I am looking forward to this game Thursday! As well as the 6:30 game, had a lot of friends in college from Elliott County

Absolutely, they do. There is no questioning that call if a trainer says a young man has a questionable concussion. The athlete is done after that I am guessing here but my bet is Frederick didn't let anyone know he was woozy and it didn't affect him enough that it was noticeable. Slight concussions a lot of times do not show signs other than the headache and all he would have to do is keep quiet about that

Cooper started off slow but things have settled down and it's back and forth slug fest with a lot of D like expected. Waiting for the Cooper run but what a game so far

I have no inside information, just someone has watched a lot of Cooper games but I would expect for Runion and Hendrix to guard CVH and Frederick, not sure which one guards which though.

I'm going Cooper by 3 with McNeil being the difference maker in this one. I'm also intrigued by the strategy. If Walters is in does Cooper try and run him up and down the court and how will each team play the other teams top 2? Who guards CVH and Frederick and vice Vera's who guards McNeil and Kunkel. To me this game could come down to who plays better between Chris McNeil and Aiden Rusthatz.

Gonna miss watching #5 Anderson play for Cooper! Such an underrated player and does whatever the team needs her to do! Finished this one with 23 points! Jags had their chances but the 3's weren't falling and missed a lot of PB shots! Credit to Holmes, they took Lexi out of the game and forced the other girls to beat them and nobody out side of Hailey was making shots today! Cooper had a great year and with what they have coming back and a few younger girls coming up they should be fighting for another regional birth and potential championship. Congrats Holmes on the win and to Cooper for having a fantastic year
