Nowhere on this thread did it say Boyoe County didn't want Coach Adams. That may be wishful thinking for some people on here. Don't see anything going on at Boyle County unlike what some people would like for it to be and until we hear it from Coach Adams then it is all speculation.

There is no comparison to cheating on your wife and telling someone their job duties have changed. Doing more work for less pay or no additional pay is the norm now but as I said it probably was handled wrong and if Boyle knew Coach Adams was mad about the change and didn't make things right then there might or should have been some resentment but with what I've heard they did accommodate both coaches so Coach Adams could look at it as they really want me as their coach because they re-did something that was already done. I can't speak for Coach Adams so this is all speculation on my part.

Timing may have been wrong with Coach Adams finding out right before the district finals or the administration may have not handled it the correct way but as I stated earlier I think both coaches have been taken care of so there shouldn't be any issues now. To be successful both programs need good coaches and they have that and I believe the school wants that and will support that. Trust me when I say Boyle County does a good job with their coaches and school system because I have been on the other end of bad coaches and administrators. It's not a fun situation to be in.

I was told yesterday that they thought the teaching situation for both coaches had been worked out. Coach Adams is a great coach who loves his players. He demands a lot out of them but he cares for them more than anyone will see or know. It would be ashame if they didn't get his teaching schedule worked out for him.

You said the same thing about the Boyle/Danville game in the district and you see how that turned out. With that being said, I feel like if Boyle shoots the ball well and keeps West's 3 point threats from making a lot of 3's they will win. If they don't it will be close and could go either way.

Garrard County hired a great coach, motivator and teacher.

I think it will be two fold......will have some that can't take his coaching style and will have some return to football because his record the first time he was here. Just my opinion.

That will be a good thing because it is long overdue!!!!!

I'm glad you got it right.....nice guess on your part. This is who they should have hired but I can tell you someones neck was on the chopping block if they didn't get this coaching right right.

Perry is the going to be announced as coach this Friday at the Grand Theatre in Lancaster. Time is 4:00.....it was on facebook...."Bring Jerry Perry back as coach" or what ever the saying was! No need to speculate, have sources or wait for Grashem to say it......it's a done deal. I have an idea who he is trying to get as assistants but I won't say until I can verify it to be true. Congratulations Coach Perry and welcome back to Garrard County!!!!!

The people I heard it from aren't real reliable so I don't want to put names out there until I'm sure who they are going to be. It won't take him long to get his coaches in place. The fun is just beginning.

I've heard a couple of names being mentioned but nothing I would rely on. It should be interesting.

I don't think neither his OC or DC will come from within the school. There might be a position coach filled by someone inside the school but that would be it. MO!!

I have my opinion on the Belfry thing but its not allowed to be discussed on here, so we need to trust that Coach Perry will put the ball in his playmakers hands whether is be on the ground or through the air and if that happens he will be successful on the offensive side of the ball but we must not forget about the defensive side either. Good luck Coach Perry and the Lions this season.

Coach Perry is smarter than to think he can coach both the offense and defense. His track record tells me he knows he needs good assistant coaches to have a successful program. Friday is going to be a great day to be a Garrard County football fan. The program is in capable hands now so let the man get settled in and do his job. :dancingpa

Jerry Perry will be introduced as Garrard County's new football coach on Friday at 4:00 pm at the Grand Theatre in Lancaster. Everyone should make plans to attend and show their support for the new coach.

They went undefeated in the regular season with no real gamebreakers and I thought the second string running back was as capable as Burke and he will be back. You never know what will happen when you have a athlete as Robbins touching the ball on every play. I think Boyle sohould be just fine his year if they find some players to replace the linemen they lost. Just my observation.
