If he isnt coachable then Coach Adams won't play him. IMO They would be a good team without out Bell, so I don't see Coach Adams ruining the team because of someone with a bad attitude. Hope that doesn't become the case because I believe they can be really good if the young man comes in with a good attitude and plays team ball.

If Danville only beat Garrard County by one and what I've been told is Garrard beat them most of the night (except for 40 seconds of the game)..... there is noooooooooooooooooooooooooo way Danville will beat Boyle and DEFINITELY won't put 40 on the board. Jeff Hester would blow a gasket if they scored that much!!!! LOL

The only way this game is competitive is if Boyle plays bad or overlooks Lincoln. Just not sure what is going on with Lincoln's football program.

I don't see Dunbar ranked above Boyle, Wayne or Lincoln or Lafayette being ranked #2 in that group.

I hope Garrard pulls out the win but they will have to have some success throwing the ball to win Friday night and the rest of the season.

With as much success and history Lincoln has in football I would think they wouldn't have to settle just for anyone just to have a head coach. There are way more qualified people I would think interested in the job than some people that have been mentioned on this thread. I know for a fact that one such qualified person has interest in the job but not sure the person doing the hiring will consider him.

Oh I thought the way you talked you knew who is was??? Mullins is doing a super job....just need a few more changes and it wold get a whole lot better. Never understood why they try to keep everything such a secret. You would think they are trying to steal something.

I heard the boys coach is going to be last years Mercer coach and the girls coach is from Lexington Catholic. If it is those two wonder how long they will stay around!!!!!

They may have made it seem like he was considered last time but in reality there was only one person considered because an alumnus recommended the guy they hired and if you know anything about Garrard County basketball that turned into a joke. As I said a month ago.......they wouldn't be looking for a coach if the school had backed the coach they had before the last person they hired........and I'm not getting on my soap box about that fiasco!!!!!

I agree. Especially when that team is 0-12 the last two years against those teams in the district.

The bottom line is the kids in the Garrard basketball program needs stability and need to be taught how to play as a team but MO and I'm not dogging the man but I'm not impressed with his coaching. His 2012-13 team who beat Southwestern, which I feel overlooked Mercer in that game lost to a 7 win team in Garrard County plus this years district wasn't that tough due to West Jessamine who was the best team in that district under achieved and I just didnt feel East was that good this year.

He couldn't win with the talent he had at Mercer and they have more talent than Garrard, so what would make him a good hire. Also, I would think it would be a temporary stop for him until something better comes along.

You would have know Beetle was a good dribbler and liked to dribble around if you had watched Holmes play in the state tournament two years ago.

If a school does not have a weight lifting class in each period of a school day then all the athletic programs at that school will suffer. A school can't have one weight lifting class a day with 60 kids in the class and expect to have a quality weight lifting program. I'm not sure how Lincoln County runs their weight lifting class but would think they would need more than one class a day.

Mr. Network......Why has Lincoln had such average teams the past few years? They have good tradition, great fan support and nice facilities but it looks like to me the talent level has fell off drastically.

It will be a bad day for Boyle County basketball if those two don't get together and work something out. Coach Adams is a quality coach and loves his kids. Most people only see how he coaches them on the court, not how great he is to them off the court.

People running their mouth and not knowing what they are talking about usually causes more problems than what actually there is.
