Walker Wood a class of 2017 Quarterback from Lexington Lafayette received an offer from the University of Louisville today. Kid is special passed for 1800 yards and 18 tds while rushing for 1093 yards and 18 tds as well. What's crazy to me is now this past season Lafayette had 5 guys with Division 1 offers and didn't make it out of the 2nd round. 2014 Sophomore Year Highlights - Walker Wood highlights

Don't know if you're being sarcastic but I'm not lying about Miller. Broke his ankle 3 plays into SC's season opener against Lafayette while playing WR. Never took a snap on defense this season.

The BGP team officially doesn't care if you get injured. Miller from Scott County played exactly 3 plays this season, all on offense so he never took the field as a DB, the position he made the team at. I'm not mad about it just a statement. Kyle Bolin was the QB on this team a couple years ago after playing only 6 and 1/2 half games due to injury and Damien Harris is in the same boat. Besides that HUGE shout out to Chase Boling on his selection, he had a great year and I'm glad to see him get recognition now from 2 of the award teams (the CJ team being the other). You made the Lexington Catholic community proud this season!

Reese Ryan was 9/12 for 129 yards 2 TDs and an INT. Gave an update on his recruitment. Sounded like he has a final 5 of Illinois, Akron, EKU, WKU, UK. He has offers from the 1st 3. I'd expect Western Kentucky to offer (if they haven't already) as he said that they were coming to visit him and he was going to take an official to Western. Reese said UK is still in contact and still an option. Cameron Bailey from LexCath started and played all game at Center. He has an offer from West Virginia State and a preferred walk-on from Louisville. (If he has other options IDK). Braxton Couch from LexCath played well at Safety from what I saw. I believe he is looking at Murray State and Centre. From a non-LexCath standpoint I liked Tequann Claitt from Bryan Station, Bryan Pirtle from Desales, Aldwin Jackson from Seneca, Beasley from North Oldham, and Hatfield from Belfry.

He's improved a ton since last year. More than just a jump shooter this season.

Arien Beasley from North Oldham was Offensive MVP. Connor Jones from South Oldham was Defensive MVP. Pretty cool for Oldham County.

I know Reese Ryan from LexCath had 2 Touchdown passes including one from 43 yards, Austin Hatfield from Belfry had a 4 yard TD run, and Arien Beasley from North Oldham had a 50 yard TD run.

I have DirecTV so I can't. Really couldn't believe they don't carry ESPN3. Apparently KY is running 2 separate offenses depending on the personnel which is pretty cool to me.

Team KY is up 27-12 over Team TN at the half. I know Austin Hatfield from Belfry has a 4 yard Touchdown run but thats it. All my knowledge has been gleaned from a twitter search.

LexCath is currently without starting forward Reese Ryan as he is playing in the Border Bowl All-star game for football. Only averages around 7 a game but is a very important player for this team as he impacts the game majorly in every way but scoring.

Knights get the big road win over their rival Eagles. Packed house tonight at LCA.

Sam Murrer is listed as 2nd team OL the guy who posted originally was wrong.

I still think LexCath is the top team in the 11th. Bad bad showing versus Lafayette but a lot of time to make up for it.

17 turnovers while shooting 29% isn't going to get it done most nights. Didn't watch the game so I don't know if it was all Lafayette's Defense or if LexCath was just missing open shots. Probably a combination of both.

Well to be fair all 4 of those players will be playing D-1 football. Lucky Jackson and Devon Quincy at WKU. Landon Young is committed to Kentucky while Jedrick Wills has offers from Kentucky, WKU, and South Carolina as just a sophomore.
