Just a FYI Boone is not left out and had no intensions to leave anybody out. Just didn't hear from Boone until after 1:00 and I already had the brackets done but I revised them to get them in. Games are scheduled to start at 2:00 ( WE'LL SEE ? ) but hopefully !! I also would like to thank NCC for getting some games at Bartlett and also Rick from Lloyd for moving a game to his field. And all the other coaches for making the best out of a bad situation. And yes a phone call would of been nice from softball city I was as surprised as everyone else when I got there since I talked to them at 7:30 that morning.

Actually Field #2 was in the best shape of all of them when I left last night. We played 2 games on field 1 last night and midway through the first game the field actually wasn't that bad. I was surprised .

It will continue tomorrow waiting t see who is in & who's not. Right now BBHS, Knock (PA), Simon Kenton & St. Henry has responded they are in. Hopefully have he revised brackets done around 12:00-1:00

Your right Dallis some innings only had to throw 6 to 8 pitches . Glad I made the trip to NKU tonight it was a good showing by both programs !

I think it hit her glove for sure because it only rolled about 15 feet into the grass. We had a similar play this year @ Bracken where we got called for interference for running in front of the shortstop as the ball went by.Kinda what happened tonight for there first run. I like the no call tonight !

Both pitchers did a nice job tonight. Both pitched good enough for the win ! Difference in game was a couple defensive mistakes for Boone and a couple missed opportunities on offense. Great season by Boone. Not sure the girls name that played right for Boone tonight but she made a couple of nice plays on D.

It was not the way I wanted the season to end, but I'm very proud of the girl. They were ready to play last night. We scored first and it should of been 2-0 if we slide at home and a hit away from it being 4 -0 . But then we come out the next inning and make some big mistakes. You cant make the big mistakes against a team like Bourbon County. I'm losing 5 great seniors they will be missed. Congrats to Tony and his team and a special congrats to Shannon Kramer & Emily Greis for being all tournament team .

Thanks for the Love Lawnboy & JMU !! I'm Very proud of the girls they are playing some of there best ball at the right time of the year. I would like to give a big shout out to Barry and his coaching staff ( tonight was their last game coaching @ Nicholas County ) You will not meet a great bunch of coaches & individuals as Barry & his staff. I wish them the best Nicholas will miss you guys & the tenth region will as well !!!

The 10th region does play the first round on Monday. Some like it and some don't.

Thats a negative, Newport head caoch said there field had water on it as well. I even tried NKU & ST. Phillip no luck anywhere.

Your right about not being able to string any hits together and when we did hit it hard it was right at someone. Congrats to NC on doing enough to get the win. JMU you were right about Lawn Boy everything he touches goes bad. won't let him carry our bats down the hill next time!

Nice update ! 3 pretty good ball players but great young ladies. I was fortunate to help coach 2 of them and they've worked very hard . Great to see local girls playing at the next level but better to see them playing as well as they are.
