Parker, Now attends school in which he orignated from Quit team in District tournement will Not Graduate from Newport High, : Explain; WALTER: Give you a hint Look familar with the Richarson Kid the attent a Boone County school last year which played basketball at Newport last year but Did not graduate at the school. Explian WALTER: That program is about one thing only too make himself look good.

What exactly did he Snap Turn around at Newport? I think Nothing. Didn't hang any banners . I beleive Russell went to and won the region with Newport Kids plus a very good Demarko Foster who moved in the prior summer. Whos mother still lives in Newport. Not Second class talent from Cincinnati kids that didn't spend a single night in Newport. Russell spent 20years teaching and caring about the School Children and community of Newport. Russell still attend Sunday Service in Newport, Let not mention that he took the Boys and Girls programs of Newport to the All A region title and State only Coach to do that in a public school maybe in the State. Ron Dawn has done this at NewCath. Please lets not compare Rodney Snap to Aric Russell no comparison..,...Just ask former players of each coach at that School. Russell NEVER condoned an Assistant to Date a Student while on Staff. Year two in Newport Guess who did. Yes Snap knowinly let his assistant date a Student only fired him when the Administrator put pressure on him... Careful who you support.

Not one on that roster could hold Jack. Jack, Dicky,Cardo,Duran,Doug John Wimize six man. Bolden nice but couldnt play with these guys

I believe I seen the Parker kid at the game. He hasn't played all regional tourny. My quess is he quit the team and move back to Ohio.

Even if all that. CCH would of still be to much. Not only if did Newort get out played they got Out Coached there was several time Newport could of used a time out and they didn't and the game was out of hand before you knew it. You could see players was getting frustrated and Snapp didn't call a timeout to settle his group down for what ever reason I don't know. But on to the Next, It will be intresting to hear who are the Next kids that are not newport orgin kids that will be on the roster, I have also heard that he will be looking to leave on once the first eye poping job comes availabe

I think they have some nice peices on the bench including his son. His son hit a nice shot at the end of the game. The price kid played some good minutes. But didn't get enough time. The Weatherspoon Kid look to have some talent as well where have these three kids been hiden all year. I think if Snapp plays these guy a bit more tonight he could of spared some fouls on his starters and gave them a bit of a rest

I completly agree, Newport palyed good the first have the Shorts didn't seem to on all cylinders today. Even if Newport didn't have enough. Cov Cath made them look like they didn't belong in the tournement.

In My Opinion Trentman if fortunate enough will be a guard at the Next Level, I like that kids game.

Yea coming from someone who wasnt at the game. If the count is only 3500. then a lot of people got in free or some one is pocketing money, My quess easy 5 to 6k

I don't think Holmes was stalling the ball, I think Holmes was stuggling to find a offensive set Newcath was playing solid defense. However if that was the case and the dogs was stalling the ball I think their game plan worked and got them what they needed. I say good coaching in that case. Why let a team build a bigger margin? That wouldnt make any sense, you coach and play to win Not to lose by letting a team get a bigger margin. Why is it ok for NCC to stall the ball but when Holmes do it its a problem and a boring game.:idunno:

I could not of said it better myself. I would get my house on it NewCath would have done the same thing if they was up by 6 with 3 mins to go in the game

I think you can get a valued education at either school. You get out what you but in. But sports wise, if you have no NewCath connections I would send the child to Brossart it seems as if you have to be well connected to get playing time in the NewCAth system

How consistent is it, when they are playing without there second leading scorer. Now if he played that game against Bracken and they lose. Then I agree 100 % However he didn't so you have to throw the consistency theory out. Without him its not consistent? NewCath wasn't the same team without Sibert even though they maintained to win they team still missed him. That all I am saying

Augusta has the 3rd best scorer in the STATE Very good basketball player but needs one more player on the court with him to be really successful. Without him I think AHS is below .500 Took Newport to the wire just ran out of gas with 4:oomins to go in the 4th Thats the circumstances

Its all Love, I am from Park Hills. I just have friend that goes to the games and he keeps me updated. I see quite a few bball games and I agree I don't think Newport last long in the region. Best of luck to you and your team.

Don't give a dang what John Messer or Willie Schlarman did. Thirdly with what the HHS football program has done :clap: second to only Trinty in my opinon who all kids live in Louisville. Now Derek Smith Silver Grove. Mike Mitchell has a brother who is and Alumni of Boone Co. so not to mention any other kids who may move in to play football. Jarred Lorenzen not a Ft Thomas kids as well as many other on the roster including now or n the past. So are you not the pot calling the kettle black, when the shoe is on the other foot. Please don't praise your school for doing something and being sucessful at it. But get mad, frown and turn the other cheek when another school does it in another sport and works in it favor. No way on earth will Highlands beats NCC and as proven Newport can play with anyone. I bet if you survey the Coaches of NKY no body want to play them first in the region. Just the facts. Also asked around town up there 75percent or better of the citizens in Ft Thomas have or had family ties to Newport. Either parent or grandparent went or live in Newport or Grew up in Newport.\ You sound a bit bitter that the draw didn't work in Highlands favor.
