Hate to say it, but if my Tigers are not careful... Nacarius could have a field day on September 6th when the Purples come to Louisville! He is a great one and wish him the best of luck this upcoming season! Always great to have in-state college level talent!

Tigers looked really good. Senior Sam Melchior went 3 for 3. Hit a 2-run homer mid game and looked great at 3rd base. Tigers played with only 4 regular starters while resting a lot. Always good to see the opponent being Trinity and Wednesday's semi-final will be a great one! See you at Jim Patterson Stadium!

Walker can do it all. Plain and simple, he could flourish at any spot on the field. Luke Hayden could see minutes at safety also.

Senior Luke Hayden has been looking really good in his new position. Sophomore receiver to watch Saturday: Jaylon Hibbs. Very strong physical receiver that can move. Ran hurdles for track (not many varsity meets). Junior Noah Houk has been nursing a back injury, so when you see the 2nd team offense come in do not panic because a sophomore 5'8 QB is in there. Houk will be the backup come fall and will be VERY good.

Henry Clay backed out from playing St. X to keep their perfect season. Why would they play Trinity instead?

The new look Tigers will have their version of a spring game on Saturday May 25 at 11:00 AM. Lots of new faces filling in for graduated seniors. You will see a whole new style of play that Tiger fans will like! Many of the starters will be returning from Spring Sports once Track, Lacrosse, and Baseball finish, but the team looks great heading into practices. What are you looking forward to the most about next Saturday? Who will you be watching for?

We'll see if he can compete with the legend Andy Schulten and the Tigers next year. Hubbard is gone and so is a lot of Trinity's attack like Abdublahi... Joe Workman is back and so is junior goalie Wes Luvisi. This Helfrich guy has his work cut out for him.

Game was cancelled according to the players. It was going to be St. X's senior night, but they moved the festivities to wednesday's game against Collegiate instead. Looks like Henry Clay pulled out not wanting to take a loss. Tigers were ready for a good matchup up, but Blue Devils apparently contacted and said it's a no go.

St. Xavier starts Spring Practice on May 13. Going to be a very exciting 2 weeks for the Tigers!

St. X is now 10-4 and remains undefeated in the state of Kentucky.

He played the 2nd half of the basketball season and was a spark off the bench. He has been throwing with Nagle and the rest of the offense after workouts and has been cutting off his bad ankle just fine with no limitations it seems. Look out KHSAA Defenses!

Andy Ferrel had a field day! Had 4 goals and good to see freshman attackman JC Storner back out there after he missed a couple of games with a broken thumb!

Tigers looked really good! First time since 2009 that they beat Trinity in the regular season. I think this is the year that they beat them twice! May should be interesting!

Tigers beat #11 Male handily on Saturday even while leaving a 4 or 5 runners on base... my question is who is going to stop them come playoff time? Seems that Male would be the only competition and Saturday was not even close. Let's see what Trinity brings to the table tonight at Louisville Slugger Field! Go Tigers!

Coach Glaser may have not wanted to leave, but I don't think anyone would want to leave a program with the amount of talent returning for a run next year. He wanted #8, but lets see what the 2013 staff can do. No worries

Tigers vs. Shamrocks: Lacrosse Edition. Varsity plays on Wednesday at 7:30 PM at Marshall Stadium! Will you be going? Does it matter? Will the Tigers repeat a win like the overtime thriller last year in the state championship or will it be a Trinity win like the regular season game last year? I say X wins 7-4 behind great goalie play and attack from Brad Schickel, Zayne Smith and Collin Roppel. Go Tigers

AT, they can enjoy their smack talk for a little while longer because come fall... The Tigers will be back on top where they belong. For now though, we can enjoy our 4 titles already and 4 or 5 other about to come this spring. Definition of domination.

St. Xavier Senior Guard Alex Jones has decided to play for the Pioneers next year.

The Tigers are going to VERY good. They have 2 5-star recruits on the team (Senior Sean Donohue and Sophomore Brandon Lancaster). Donohue is signed with Alabama to play in college. The doubles team of Parker Thieneman and Zachary Kuo will be dominant. I have not found a state ranking for Tennis in Kentucky. Hopefully someone else knows and will point us in the right direction
