Program is not on a decline. This next year has some challenges early like last year, but The program has shown they can adapt and improve. A lot of players in the pipleine, need patience and support.

Campbell County Junior, Rebecca Cline, has a chance to win her third regional title in the AAA 100 meter hurdles and 300 meter hurdles. Good luck to all this weekend!

Rayquan Horton DL (Belfrey) was at this event, but does not have combine results listed. He also competed at the Charlotte Regional and turned in 5.2 sec 40 and 30 inch vertical jump at 310 lbs. Another good effort.

Results are up from the Nike + Regional The Opening. Previous thread highlighted Tanner Morgan's performance in the Elite 11 competition at this event, but also 2 KY players placed in top 8 in combine testing. Nike+ Regional The Opening (Columbus) Results Jack Fagot, DB, from Lexington Christian placed top 5 Derrick Barnes, LB/RB, Cov. Holy Cross placed top 8 Congrats to these young men and thanks for representing KY football in a positive manner. One thing that stuck out to me was Barnes running a 4.73 laser 40 at 241 lbs. I'm impressed.

Cameron Barrett of Dixie with a nice showing at the combine. I believe the 40 results are hand timed, but this young man is legitimately fast. He has the measurables to get on the radar of larger programs. 6'1 - 210 SS/DB/OLB

Camels held their Spring Inter-squad scrimmage today, with 50 boys dressed and participating. Offense bested the Defense, but good plays on both sides of the ball. Parents and fans should be optimistic and enthusiastic about the '16 Camels. Too many players with good performances today to single anyone out. Go Camels!

From the results it looks like it was a fun Meet. Talented group form St Henry's dominated the girls field. Cov Cath with a 1 point victory over Bishop Brossart in the boys meet. Those 1 point victories are what make the 4x400 even more exciting to watch. Congrats to all diocese placers.

Coach Lickert tells the parents up front that the best kid plays. I hope upper classmen are working hard to earn/keep their spot, because there is a talented group moving up to the sophomore class. Off season conditioning attendance has been very good per the reports I have received. Go Camels!
