  1. Collins does not like shooting from the outside do they? They are very patient waiting for the inside to open up for Cochran. If he can't get open Collins' offense is non existent.
  2. Elliott taking advantage of mistakes and poor shooting to get back in this one
  3. I really hope the Cooper officials are like the officials in this game.
  4. I'm with you, I think there are several NKY players that could play for the Norse but unfortunatley so far they aren't going after those players. I think S. McNeil could easily play for the Norse.
  5. Rofl!!!!! Or the 2 wifes throw down in a cage match
  6. I read that when it happened...to be "afraid" because someone said they support Trump is pretty lame if you ask me.
  7. I don't know if the Manning 30 for 30 would be the best in this situation. Although the 30 for 30 was very kind to the Mannings, there was a ton of involvement when it came to Eli's drafting from dear old dad. Mannings medle as much as Mr Ball does with his sons, the media just treated the Mannings as if they were royalty and kept silence mostly about the meddling.
  8. Awesome, I hope to be able to check it out and if I miss it I hope Lance has it podcasted.
  9. You mean they aren't going to wait until the middle of July to announce this like they seem to do with Football? lol
  10. I completely understand where you are coming from. I will say although that sometimes coaches do miss things that a "fan" may notice when it comes to some players. I say this mistake is usually made at the Freshman level...sometimes, not always. What I mean by this is simple. Some "fans" who mostly are some parents, and I'm not saying they are always talking about "their kid" per say, but may be familiar with other players that they have watched play for 8 years prior to getting to High School and know what the kids strengths and weaknesses are. When a kid get to high school, most of the time they are unknown by the freshman coach because the coach has never seen him play before in his life. Even if the kid was a stud throughout his pee wee career they can sometimes be put in wrong positions because the coach doesn't know any better and of course they may not want to hear it from "outsiders" This happens at times, not saying it happens a lot but it happens. I seen it happen myself, and it wasn't my boy I speak of but someone who played with him for 8 years before getting to high school. He was put in a position he never ever played before even though he was a really good player at another position all his life. The coach already had an idea of where he wanted to put this player and it was sad to see what happened to the kid. He hardly played any during his high school career because he was playing out of position. He was a great TE in pee wee and was never even put on the offensive side of the ball for his 4 years of High School because the coach at freshman level convinced him he would be much better as a LB, needless to say the poor kid worked his butt off at LB his freshman year but just never was good enough to see the field until they sent the 2nd and 3rd stringers in for cleanup time. So I do think sometimes especially when it comes to freshman players, that some coaches may not know the kid as well as they want to act like they do. When a coach has never seen a player play before, it isn't hard to put him in positions he may not be best suited for. It does happen.
  11. That is a cool pic! 2 of my next door neighbors are playing for the Jags also. Tyler and Alex Ollier. What's cool is they went down to BG when my son played in the state title game for football in 2012 and now my son is coming home Friday after class to go watch them if they make it to the final 4 at Rupp, Love it!
  12. You'll recognize this old face, I'll be there!
  13. I really hope they surprise a lot of people, you did nothing the rest of the state doesn't do when it comes to Cooper. You're in the Louisville area and don't know the schools up north very well, it's understandable.
  14. Good luck to you this year coach...except when you play a certain team
  15. So I'm curious to what you're idea of a "Great Year" is seeing how every year you say they will win it all. So if those are less than Great Years then I take it this year you are thinking a National #1 when it's all said and done?
  16. If a team doesn't win it all in HS football does not equate to a down year. Sorry to give you a dose of reality.
  17. Then let me be the first to predict SK for you...bust
  18. I'm a Cooper fan just as everyone on here is a fan of one team or another. But unlike you, I'm very unbiased. I don't swear every single year that Cooper is going to beat everyone and win a state title when I know they don't have the talent to do so. So what is your point? I don't predict Cooper winning state this year. How about you and SK?
  19. Again, no one has talked about Cooper running the tables year in and year out. Let me know when SK actually gets close to Bowling Green.
  20. Let's revisit this shall we? I did your research for you. You say the only team SK has struggled with was T. Seems we have to go all the way back to 2011 for that butt whooping when T handed it to your SK by beating you 71-0. So apparently you all have no problems with anyone else according to you, but wait!!!! This can't be true...you all haven't faced T at all in the last 6 seasons. So maybe these are the teams that really gives SK problems as these are all the ones that sent SK home packing. Scott Co in 2012, Butler in 2013, Dixie in 2014, Lafayette in 2015 and deja vue Lafayette again in 2016. How many of those teams win titles in that time frame? SC? That's it? Hmmmm seems SK struggled against just about everyone south of the tri county. Especially Lafayette. They have SK's # lol
  21. How many times has SK knocked Cooper out of the playoffs you ask? I think 1 time and that was by 1 point. Yet with that said I don't remember anyone from Cooper spouting off every single year that they are going to run the table and win the state title. Every single year over the past 7 years. Actually Cooper has been more Succesful and made it further in the post season than SK has in that same time frame. Yet it's you who always over estimate SK's playoff runs year in and year out as they usually get knocked out early more times than not.
  22. If your prediction holds true, it would be kind of ironic that the only time Cooper has made it to the state finals they would face the same school they faced in football the only time they made it to the state finals in that sport.
  23. Agree 100% that he did exactly as you explained. It wasn't anything special and kind of blah. There were people trying to make it out to be a great call, and it simply wasn't is all.
