  1. Just keep learning Jags. Use this season as a way to improve.
  2. This year is going to be full of growing pains for Cooper but I have no problem at all with that. Cooper is so young and knew it would be a tough season for them but I really like some of the changes being made. For the 5th year in a row they have had a new qb. This year may be the last of the revolving qb's for awhile. I love the change made from Armour as starting qb to Linder to starting qb. I liked what I saw in the HHS game when Linder took over. He throws a nice ball and one of the biggest problems Cooper had was no wr's that could catch the ball. Now they move Armour back to receiver where he played last year and they finally have a decent threat at that position as they demonstrated with their TD Fri night. That plus the fact that Armour is only a JR this year gives him another year to mature at that position. The best part of that fact is that the starting qb now is only a sophomore. That is huge! Coach Borchers is the best in the area at molding qb's and he now has 3 years with Linder which is huge. Anyone remember the last 3 yr starter at that position? Does Tyler Morris ring any bells? He went from a team that couldn't beat themselves to a team that made it to the state championship game his senior year as starting qb. I'm not saying that will happen here but I will remind everyone that every qb Borchers started after that state title run season broke school records each year after. This year will be ugly, no doubt, next week will make you want to bury your heads in the sand garunteed when they play Cov Cath and a certain SK fan will gloat the rest of the season in this one. But in the end I will take the growing pains. They have been so successful in their infancy compared to another team who took over 50 yrs to simply match Coopers success in their first 6. Cooper fans, there will be those detractors so be prepared to take your lumps. It comes with the territory. Just take the hits and let it roll off your shoulders. In the end this is all to improve the team over the next few seasons. Cooper will be back sooner than later at taking their place once again at the top of their district. Just be patient. I wouldn't trade this coaching staff for any other in NKY. Cooper Strong!

Even including certain admin who for some reason has itnout for Cooper as he has already labeled their coaches as unethical. It comes with the territory. 4. One last thing. Don't you think if Dalton could beat playoff teams like some of you actually think he can, we wouldn't be having this conversation?
  5. The bolder is false. I already made a post that showed out of all the playoff teams I listed he played he only had a winning record over 2 of them and 1 of them are in his division where he plays them twice a year. Dalton only has a 20% winning percentage against those teams. You forget that it was AJ who was the starter that clinched the last Bengals playoff season after just a couple NFL starts. I do like your post though becaise it shows what many people think about Dalton yet isn't true. He doesn't beat playoff Cali WR teams. He loses to them more than beats them.
  6. Congrats Breds!!! Great to finally get that monkey off your backs. Good luck rest of the year!!!
  7. Gonna be a long season unless Cooper puts Armour back at WR and let's their backup qb their starter
  8. I'm at the Fairfield game, my sister in laws fitire hubby has a son playing who is one of the top linemen in Ohio for Fairfield. Fairfield is #6 in the state and are getting their butts handed to gen by Centerville. about to be 20-0 Sounds like Coopers passing game again is non existent.
  9. Not a Russilo fan at all and never has been. He has always come off like he wanted to be "The Guy" and came across like even though he was the 2nd fiddle to SVP , he always wanted to be top dog and tended to come across as too arrogant in many ways. Just not a fan. Very few on ESPN that I'm truly a fan of anymore ever since Tom Jackson retired. It's basically down to Jay Bilas and Kirk Herbstreit, everyone else I don't care too much for.
  10. ESPN needs to stick to sports. They have gotten so political lately. I will never forget Mike and Mike saying on heir radio show just last year that they refused to talk politics on their show but that didn't last. Now they can't keep themselves from talking about Kapernicks views and a lot other political topics. That show has jumped the shark also. Used to really enjoy it, not anymore. I find it hypocritical that they pull their announcer because they didn't want to come off as racist but the announcer is Asian American. Sorry espn but that's a swing and a miss.
  11. So ESPN just announced they have removed one of their football play by play announcers from doing the Virginia Football game because of what happened in Charlottesville. All because his name is Robert Lee. Oh, btw, he is Asian. ESPN has gotten so bad anymore that they are tough to watch.
  12. Your dad got them 2 years after we did. We got them in 77 and like your dad got to enjoy both SB's. So we shared many great memories. As your dad can attest to, there is nothing like following this team during their Super Bowl seasons.
  13. We will just have to agree to disagree on who should be the starting qb. Hey I could be wrong. AJ could be worse but the problem is we won't know until it actually happens. So lets just just go on rooting on this team. Hopefully your right and we win in the playoffs this year. And hopefully I'm wrongnwhen I say we won't make the playoffs.
  14. So what is my philosophy since you know everything? This is by far not the most successful run in franchise history. You do know we haven't won a playoff game in 26 years and counting right? That is the biggest difference in me and you. I know what a successful Bengals team looks like since I actually witnessed both Super Bowl runs in person. You on the other hand may not have even been alive the last time the Bengals ever won a playoff game so to you this is the most successful run that you have ever witnessed. I do feel a little sorry for you in that aspect. You don't know what it's actually like to follow a winner.
  15. AJ was teh QB when they clinched their last playoff berth, just sayin. Hey, I understand I won't convince you with facts so we will just leave it as it is. I will keep wanting another QB to lead this team because the current one has proven he can't. And you can keep enjoying watching other teams play in the SB. We willjust leave this debate there.
  16. Where do you get 80% success rate from? Success at what? Look at the 2 QB's stats in playoff games. AJ has the highest rating of the 2. AJ also led the team back from a deficit which Dalton has never ever ever done in a playoff game. AJ also threw for as many TD's in 1 game as Dalton has in total in 4 Games. So not sure what hat you drew 80% out of. Last I checked Dalton has 0% success in playoff games.
  17. Keep ignoring the question I posed. Why would you want a worse QB to play in a playoff game for your team than one that already proved he is better in playoff games?
  18. We will let the facts speak for themselves. Sanu for instance in 4 years playing in Cincy with Dalton as his QB only had 1 season where he caught more passes than he did in 1 year in Atlanta. Marvin Jones JR also out of 4 seasons in Cincy only had 1 year in Cincy that he had more receptions than he had in his 1 year in Detroit. Yea, I think both will agree they are in a better situation and a lot has to do with their current QB's.
  19. What about the 2 linemen that left this year? I bet if you ask the majority of players (Who are already being paid millions) if they had a chance to win a SB ring would they stay with that team or would they leave for more money, many would choose a ring because they already have millions. Many athletes choose to take less for a chance to win.
  20. Reasoning? I asked you a simple question that you refused to answer. The question was easy. You talked about how AJ was only mediocre through most of the playoff game and that is why you want Dalton to be the QB. Yet the fact still remains that "AJ Mediocrity" in the playoff game was still better than ANY game Dalton has had in the playoffs. So please explain why you would want a qb who plays worse in playoff games as your QB over one that plays better? That makes no sense at all except for the fact you would rather the team fail to prove your point than have the team succeed and admit your choice was the wrong QB.
  21. You keep talking about his chemistry with his teammates, is that why the best players outside AJ Green are leaving in droves? How about his own linemen who he has this great chemistry with? Shoot the 2 best we had left the first chance they had. His #2 and #3 receiver left last year. The chemistry and leadership you talk about is nothing more than a figment of your imagination. If it was a good as you say it is after 6 years, his teammates wouldn't be leaving, they'd want to stay if they believed Dalton could lead them to a Championship.
