The Carter's play for Henderson, but Madisonville has a very tough football team this year led by QB TJ Phaup, RB Ryan Bowman, RB Jaron White, WR/RB Ivonta White, and one of the Best Olines in the area if not the state led by WKU commit Cullen Reynolds. Their Defense has been solid and features solid players across the board. Paducah is a game that I believe team let off of the gas instead of finishing being up 27-0 to start the 4th and allowed a good Tilghman team to gain confidence and get back in the game.

I'm glad you would, cause I know the Maroons are ready for the rematch and the Devils left Badgett Field limping after the last game, hard fought game by both teams and hopefully it will be decided by the men suited up on the field this time, calls were bad for both teams that night

Would be ride taken with pride if it comes to that, like I said two major road blocks ahead but this team is capable of making things happen and could make believers out of a few before the season is over

Don't count out the Maroons from Madisonville just yet out of the west, everyone's #2 ranked team narrowly escaped with the W a few weeks ago and they have played a very competitive schedule up to this point, it will be a tough road for anyone in the west but this could be the year they get over the Franklin Simpson & Owensboro hump with a shot at the semi's, don't know a lot about the east and everyone keeps comparing Cal Preps scores which has a rematch looming with the Red Devils in the regional final game at Rash, before everyone says how hard it is to play there it should be known that Madisonville handed out the worst loss in the history of the stadium in 2011

Madisonville won the McCracken County 7on7 today over Rossview,TN 34-26, had wins over teams from 5 different states

Thats an assessment id agree with, Adjustments were being made during the first quarter when things snowballed out of control, players were frustrated but its the coaches job to get the adjustments made and make sure they are held accountable, since that game and the ones that followed personnel changes have been made and the team seems to be back on track, only time will tell but the they are capable of making a run at a rematch with Owensboro

What was it that you saw between the coaches and players that was lacking? I know that they meet after each series to make adjustments if necessary and the coaches try to encourage them when needed.

Be as unimpressed with Madisonville as you want but the talent level is there to make a run in the playoffs. The schedule has definately showed things within the team that needed to change. A win against Calloway will give them the #2 seed in the playoffs and a home playoff game when the true test of a team starts.

I have to go with 2002 Mayfield but I'm a little partial, the whole field is strong and it will be interesting to see who comes out on top

Turnovers in the game are what hurt the Maroons, there was no lopsided victory for the devils, it will be a very good hard fought game with the winner claiming the district championship and home field advantage in the playoffs

Madisonville should be a top team in the west, They split with Owensboro last year and return as much or More talent than the Devils, Collins is the team to beat and either team will give them a challenge in the semis

I grew up with your cousin Josh and also played football for Mayfield, everytime I was around your dad he was a very great man, sorry to hear about your loss, he was and is a Cardinal legend

Madisonville needs to gain some confidence and this game could be the one that starts a win streak. The Maroons have talent but are young in some positions and have yet to put a complete game together. The defense needs to step it up this week and if the offense continues to progress they will come home with the W
