When I played club in college. We bought team helmets and they sold us brand new ones for around $75. (They are normally $200-300)

Ohio sanctioned it, but also still has a club division which helps the schools that have title 9 issues. Because they aren’t “varsity sports”

It depends on where you go. If you roll into dicks that’s wfat you’ll spend. But being in nky we’d just cross the river to cincy and get used stuff from play it again. But they always offer team pricing. So a school starting a team could get some solid discounts.

Coach Tapphouse has the program going in the right direction. I think having beechwood gone is going to be a huge mental boost to the kids. Most of these kids don’t even remember NCC in district. So to them they are just another school. Looking forward to those games.

Holy Cross also beat Ryle

Ludlow beats Boone 59-58. Ludlow was down 8 with around 3 minutes and came back to take the lead with about 15 seconds left. Boone then drove down and got fouled on the shot and made to go up (58-57) and then Ludlow ran a great break after a timeout to score on a wide open lane to win 59-58. Really exciting Finish.

Some schools just don’t have the money for that, and honestly for middle schoolers winning a NKMSAA championship will mean a lot to them. Ludlow’s HS success is directly related to the success they’ve had at the MS level

One year Ludlow played woodland (both of which went on to win the large and small school Championships) and the game was a 1 point game until late. You can’t really say some school can’t compete. If you have talent you will be able to play with anyone.

They also allow you to implement short yardage packages as well
