  1. He is a 5'11 195 lb running back slash DB. Is one of the top players in KY. Smooth as silk offensively, and hits like a truck on defense. Last year ran for over 1200 yards. This year wasn't counted as much but ran for over 500 yards received for over 300 yards and has 4 INTs on the year. Has offers from Arkansas State (Gus Malzahn), Western, and Akron. Holding out for offers from UK and UL. And a great kid.
  2. Selected to the KY All Star's. proud if him. Very deserving.
  3. Ahhhh so let me rephrase with that scenario. Lafayette will beat Male Central will beat Manual St X and Trin roll....
  4. Lafayette will rip manual. Male and Central is a toss up. Obviously Trinity and X would be favored against any team from any District in 6A
  5. Dunbar is the weakest in the District
  6. They are the class of Lexington football. Outside of Lexington Catholic. But Creek and Lafayette are rivals. These 2 play close every year and I don't see this year any different. Creek has firepower on offense an will make the game a shoot out. They definitely can beat Lafayette.
  7. Here's to your tenacity brother.......I would feel like that If playing fields were anywhere near even. Until then, it's an act of futility.......but I wish you all The best.....
  8. Skinner injured his ankle in the game and didn't look great coming out of the game. You may want to Check on his availability.
  9. It's a point system based off of your 4 best wins not being one of the teams that is tied. Each wins those teams has, equals a point. The team that has the highest points gets the higher seeding. Creek can't win in that scenario.....Our best and only hope is that we win and Clark wins thus we would get the 1 seed. Lafayette 2 seed Clark 3 seed. Central 4 seed. If we lose we automatically get the 3 seed due to our head to head matchups with both Central and Clark.
  10. This game is always a toss up regardless of records. These games usually come down to the wire and I don't see this one any different. There is a lot at stake for Creek. If they can win and get some help from Clark County, Tates Creek can win the district. Lafayette is proving to be the best city team in the city primarily due to its defense. Lafayette is more of a finesse team on offense which helps Creek out as they are strong against the pass and soft against interior running teams. This has the makings of a great game. There will be fireworks in this one. I see Big games across the board. Look at Creek to keep the ball in its playmakers hands. Dennis Oxendine and RJ Taylor. Can Creek protect Soph. QB Graham Gordon? If they can, Creek poses most teams lots of problems on that side of the ball, as Gordon is having a great season, when he has time he finds his weapons and can make all the throws. Gordon leads 6A in yards passing so far this season. Lafayette has its own arsenal with Nelson out of the backfield and Chester at receiver. And another QB having a great season Garett Peavler, currently 2nd in 6A yards passing by a slim margin. But Lafayette has a dilemma. It is a spread offense that likes to play in space, screens and quick pass game which Creek is fully capable at stopping. But Lafayette has an advantage in the trenches. Will it change its gameplan to exploit that matchup?? If so, how does the offense react to that style of play. Lots of dynamics In a great City Rivalry. I see Creek throwing everything in its arsenal and finding a way to outscore Lafayette 38-35.
  11. To add to that. If Clark were to beat Central they would be tied for 3rd in district, and Clark would hold the tiebreak and thus avoid Trinity albeit still having to play St X.
  12. Well. If Clark wins and Creek wins. We would then be tied at 2-1 with Lafayette for the district title. And we would hold the Tiebreaker seeing that we beat them head to head. Now, if Creek wins and Central wins, there is a 3 way tie atop the standings and it goes to a point system formula to decide the standings. And Creek would be relegated to 3rd in that scenario. So, the long and short is we need to Win, and we need you to win.
  13. I have heard that a lot of kids are dinged up going into the Central Game. I know Skinner left the game against us and was having issues with his ankle it looked like. But there were several others that were injured later in our game. A couple big men. I hope you guys can get healthy and play hard on Friday. Tates Creek is your biggest fans this week.
  14. Yeah I looked at it today. Creek needs a win and for Clark County to handle Central. But really we just need to handle our business and let the chips fall. I'm excited for our challenge this weekend. Will be fun. The boys are going to let it all out and see what happens this weekend.
  15. Coach with the quote of the thread. These are 2 phenomenal athletes. Both are fantastic football players that will both be playing at Major D1 institutions next year. It is really uncalled for or should I say, unnecessary, to try and say so and so is better or not. 2 1st team all staters that would both deserve Mr Football. Kids play where they play. Whether they go where they are recruited or play where they live. Doesn't affect their ability whatsoever. They could switch places and do the exact same thing.........Quick will win Mr Football. And deserves it......but so does Ryan Timmons.
  16. I got ya. Creek is on the short end if that scenario. Best case is to beat Lafayette and Clark to beat Central. This leaving Creek and Lafayette ties at 2-1. Then the head to head would come into effect
  17. Won't be an easy game by any means. Clark has found their identity. Sharock at QB gives them the best chance for success. Out Skinner with the other athletes out in space. I feel like they have a great chance at an emotional win. Especially seeing how Lafayette completely shut out Central.
  18. I saw it now. It's cool. Creek needs to win and needs Clark to knock off Central.
