  1. St X is an impressive looking group. Big difference in 100 plus kids and 45.
  2. X is very good. And our kids are very excited to have this opportunity to play a program the caliber of St X.......
  3. Everyone plays bad games. Is what it is. Lafayette was a good game between rivals. Every game doesn't light up the scoreboard. But I'll take a team that averages 28.1 points a game over a 10 game sample over a hand picked game as an example. Notice I didn't quote that because we scored 54 against Harlan or 48 against Clark or 38 against Central as reasons that we score points tonight.
  4. Hey, real question for the St. X contingent, is there a place that will be live broadcasting on the radio for the game. Id like to listen to it while we watch it.
  5. I love it CreekFan.......lol. Putting it out there. Im proud of you.
  6. Def a tough draw, we wish you guys health as well.
  7. Not trying to not pick. But I just wanted to give you the correct info. They fought hard this year. And as a young team that will be very tough going forward a 3 seed means something to them. They aren't just some pitiful woe is me team. They can play.
  8. SMH....UNFORTUNATELY I DO. But this is High School, and those kids will have their opportunities at some point during the game. We throw the ball around alot, so dont expect us to run into the teeth of your defense.....But you definitely bring up a good point. X will control the line.
  9. Our kids are very excited to play a program the caliber of X. However, you keep #32 Oxendine and #19 Taylor out of the endzone and I'll tip my cap to you.
  10. Tates creek has 6A's #3 QB in Soph. Graham Gordon threw for over 2000 yards. 6As #7 and #10 WRs in RJ Taylor and Tavon Dunn. And 1st team All Stater Dennis Oxendine at RB. Offense isn't this teams issue. They will score points.
  11. Oh most definitely. They are exactly where they want to be. Not predicting a shock the world scenario
  12. They each will get loose at least once.
  13. #32 Oxendine #19 Taylor Too good to be held to 1 score.
  14. I don't necessarily think that Creek will win but I do know that they will score points. They have too much talent at the skill positions to be shut down. I see a closer score than most would predict. St. X sticks to the ground, Creek will get theirs through the air. Spells a 45-21 game to me.
  15. Last year in this same scenario. Campbell county the 1 seed hosted 4 seed Tates Creek. And would up holding on at the horn 22-20 by knocking down a pass in the end zone Dunbar isn't as good as Tates Creek was but you never know. I say Campbell wins by 2 scores
  16. Smart cat right here......^^^^^
  17. That's actually a good point
  18. I digress. Highlands and Boyle county have great programs and traditions. In fact, Tates Creek looks forward to traveling to Boyle county next year.
  19. No worries. Actually it was for PP92, was confused on the shortened version of his name. The discussion is foolish. All things being equal, regardless of proximity, it would be beneficial to be able to pull from a larger group. Size obviously matters. Just like on the flip side, when schools like Boyle and Highlands have a distinct advantage by having a LARGER feeder system of the middle schools and youth leagues that feed to them solely. While Bigger enrollment schools in Lexington are forced to divvy up the middle schools amongst each other. Again, size still matters.
