Can anyone provide some information on Henry Clay? I haven't heard much in regards to them this year.

They have 6A leading rusher Elijah Bell. Quick as lightning and very very dangerous. Also have 2 other very quick runners and a 6'3 280 lb FB/Nose tackle. Have a nice receiver as well. Limited passing attack. Mostly speed rush attack and screens.

 

Not a great defensive team

I'm thinking this has to come down to how well the Colonels defense plays. Can DHHS handle the speed guys for HC? And tackle, tackle, tackle. Colonels cannot let HC's runners break tackles.

Judging ONLY by what I saw DHHS vs Cooper last Friday, DHHS has problems with both passing the ball and defending the run. Does not bode well for them. I'm gonna say, on the conservative side, they threw away at least 12 passes. QB hit Cooper's Freshmen reserves on the sideline more often than his own teammates. Morris was able to run the ball at will in the second half. The Colonels looked spent.

The Colonels can throw. They have a good, dual threat sophomore quarterback, with the key being sophomore. He may have struggled with a wet ball last week. They do have trouble on defense though, and HC's speed could kill them as it's something they lack on both sides of the ball. I think they'll be able to score on HC, but I think they struggle to stop HC.

Bad generalities......HENRY Clay is loaded wit speed. Will be awful difficult for Dixie to stop. Henry Clay 28-20

How can Henry Clay lose to Dunbar? Seems Dixie has improved throughout the season. I look for Dixie Heights to edge Henry Clay by a touchdown.
