If 3 teams finish 2-1 in District play. What is the tiebreaker?

I would assume it would be your 4 best opponents Win totals.

Unless 1 of the teams tied beat the other 2 teams, it then goes to 4 teams each team beat except for the other two tied, and you then add the wins of the other 4 teams and whoever has the most wins wins the tie breaker and same for 2nd etc.

Lafayette (2-0)

Madison Central (1-1)

Tates Creek (1-1)

Clark Co. (0-2)

 

Creek plays Lafayette

Central plays Clark

 

IF, Creek beats Lafayette, and Central beats Clark. 3 teams sit with 2-1 records. Who wins the district and who is 2nd?

If there is a 3 way tie, I don't think there is ever a look at head to head.

Not really. You have to beat teams before they help you - not just play tough teams.

I saw it now. It's cool. Creek needs to win and needs Clark to knock off Central.

Go to Kentucky High School Athletic Association | KHSAA – Student-athletes of Today, Leaders of Tomorrow and do the math. You just can't use victory totals for any of the three teams that are tied. So, for example, you couldn't use Lafayette for Creek (in your example you had Creek winning that game). You pick 4 victories over any opponents other than the 3 teams that are tied.

I got ya. Creek is on the short end if that scenario. Best case is to beat Lafayette and Clark to beat Central. This leaving Creek and Lafayette ties at 2-1. Then the head to head would come into effect

I've been running over these numbers since Central beat Creek... It looks like Creek will be headed to St. X for a playoff game whether they win or lose this Friday... Unless GRC beats Central... I know I posted on another thread that the GRC/Central game is anyone's game, but... I hoping gas prices fall before Friday...

Yeah I looked at it today. Creek needs a win and for Clark County to handle Central. But really we just need to handle our business and let the chips fall. I'm excited for our challenge this weekend. Will be fun. The boys are going to let it all out and see what happens this weekend.
