He came knocking in 12, NCC declined. I'll say this for dale, he's going to schedule who he thinks he can beat, nothing wrong with that at all. So NCC can't beat HHS in football on a regular basis, they beat the crap out of em in every other sport and still gets to put their football state championship rings on. HHS isn't winning hardware in any other sports. As good as your football program is, it's still 2nd fiddle to trinity. NCC is good in almost every sport, y is HHS so bad in every thing except football?

What game lol, the only offense Holmes had was three rainbow passes to that WR. Other than that, they couldn't move the ball. I know they put 28 up on highlands, that the game your talking about? Cause I'm talking about the NCC game that was 12-7.

Lyon caught 4 tds. NCC didn't run a te offense, only maybe 4-5 snaps a game, in short yardage situations. He had 2 tds called back and one was ruled "no catch" in the Dixie game. That makes seven. Lets not forget the biggest catch, final second of the state title game to win it. He did drop a crucial TD in the mcnich game, had to settle for three, NCC lost by 3 i think. To say its not close is a bit rough, I don't think the kid had enough snaps to compare them. Not sure where ur getting ur stats at. Rumor is, NCC may run more of a te offense this year......just a rumor I know there have been a few recruiters into NCC to talk with him about playing te on the next lvl, not to bad for not playing much of the position.

I guess we are just debating over semantics at this point. In my book, you get invited to a spring game and you have to sign your name, it's pretty official lol. I realize they do break it down differently.

Not true, players can visit in the spring. Is regarded as an official visit. When you go in the fall, after September, that's when they wine and dine you, that's the big one.

You sure you were at any of the games lol. Led the def in sacks. One thing most people need to realize, for more than half their games this year, most the starters didn't play but half a game most the time due to blowing teams out.

I'm not going to debate on what Thacker brought to the table. Great kid who loved the game, hope continues to keep playing a game he loves.

For two reasons, first he will be the starting QB if he decides to play. Second, he will be the starting QB.....

Debatable about losing their best defensive player.... Sutkamp and Meeks were pretty good, and lyon was their best run defender as well as rushing the QB. Sutkamp, if I'm spelling that right, is going to murder this season. Lyon and Meeks will be special.

I don't disagree with you about his talent. Whether these kids come out for football or not, the football team will compete for a 2A championship and the basketball team will be very good next year.

If you mean head coaches, then no. Even a Div. 3 head coach makes more than a high school head coach. Now, like I said, mueller would be taking a pay cut, I've heard he makes somewhere around 100k at highlands. Now that's a joke. Anyone with any football sense could step in there and win state titles at half that cost in that program.
