So Interviews start bright and early tomorrow morning. I still think we are weeks out before a Coach is named. Just my opinion. But who knows, maybe they have their guy by weeks end.

Congrats to Coach B. I believe this is a good step to becoming a Head Coach someday.

It’s actually comical reading some of this. Actually someone texted me 2 days ago and said they heard they were naming a Coach today. It’s unbelievable what some people will come up with. Especially when we have no clue how it works.

Yeah but are we in the business to let Kids make Adult decisions? Just stop it already. You feel better now telling your side of the Story? Let’s not go there. Are we really willing to open up that can of sardines? I’m pretty confident the kids that I know who played thought they deserved better. You do know most of everyone have moved on. The selection process can be a tricky one. Remember Highlands doesn't have a Teaching job open just yet. Doesn't mean one isn't coming up. This time last year there wasn't any available but at the end of the year there were several. I'm certain the people whoever they are that were asked to sit on this process will give valuable Info that will ensure the right Coach is hired. Even if I knew who was on it, I certainly wouldn't want people like myself knowing who was. Because if they don't get this right, who knows what else the Ft Thomas Mafia will burn down.

While we are being honest here, did Dale and Brian like one another during this cult-like period, as you claim? I know many ex-players that have said Dale and Brian use to go at each other’s throats all the time. Is that true? The masses would like to know 7 years later. It would explain a lot on why Brian took the keys to the paid-off Mercedes and traded it in for a Ford Focus and put proceeds in his pocket to be cashed in over the course of 7 years.

Exactly the case here. Weinrich was and is a great Defensive Coach but a terrible Leader and motivator. Trying to be the Offensive and Defensive Coordinator at Highlands or any other school is not a good Idea and not suggested. So why have any other coaches? The kids and Parents love him though. Until the season is over and he's no longer their coach. Funny how that works isn't it? Don't have a skin in the game and thankful I don't.

42-0? I was way off. Thought HHS would do much better than they showed. Sounds like some decisions need to be made defensively. On offense it looked like HHS was able to move the ball occasionally but unable to put it in the Endzone. It appears HHS is reaching a low point. Cooper comes to town this week right? And then Mighty Mo. I know they aren't the Moeller of past but it still will be big game for them to not let a small Ky team beat them. Can't overlook Cooper or the Birds will be paying a Visit potentially to Park Hills the 1st week of the Playoffs. Season over.

Multiple days to Install 1 play? Well that explains why Highlands only has 6 or 7 plays. Some of the stuff he says is maddening. Highlands has had a Football in their hands working out from Dec to March. Don't let him fool you. It's called a Fieldhouse. They have been running plays up until the days they were shut down but the District. To say that they haven't done anything because of Covid is a complete joke. Doesn't surprise me. He blamed the one season on No Spring Football because the new Football Field turf was being installed during that period. Wow! Highands does have other options in town as in a Turf Soccer complex. Should of thought outside the box that year. With Lights and Turf you can practice around other teams. Excuses, excuses. Good luck Birds but mark it down, Brian Weinrich will have some type of Corona excuse to back his claim up when he doesn't finish the season as strong as some people think they will. Their wins were Conner and Boone Co. OMG

I must admit I was way off. Birds looked good. Thought Conner would give them a better game. It almost looked like a payback game. Maybe Conner can come back to Ft Thomas for the 1st round so the Birds can attempt another Spanking on them. The Birds still have to play 3 district games so anything is possible. Move on to the next game.

Conner in this one. Like stealing money literally from Highlands. No Win no chance of a Playoff game. A Win-Win for Conner and another season of Highlands Sports suffering financially at the hands of the Fall Sport that use to be the Bread winner year in and year out.

Tom Duffy won state his 2nd year with a team that won 1 game as Freshman. Dale Mueller was in the Finals his 2nd year as well. Remember what you keep saying that there’s no talent. Even Jack Eicher was 12-0 his 3rd year before being ousted by Duffys Danville team. So yes it’s not out of the question.

I have already heard that a handful kids will be gone next year from 8th+10th if there isn't a change made. That's sad that kids are willing to leave the school they have been dreaming of playing for their entire lives just to play a Sport. Heck CCH gets a new Five each year in Basketball so I guess it's totally not out of the question. You say noway? Again and I will keep beating this Dead horse. But when Cam Hergott left for Ft Mitchell this should of been a sign and could of been addressed but wasn't. But with Highlands in the middle of a Principal hire and a Vice Principal who's kids all attend Beechwood Schools, it was a Win-Win for the VP to have him come there. If the now Principal was at HHS 3 years ago after the 2017 season of Follies, I would almost guess HHS would be rebuilding with someone new. But to the point of the post above, HHS has had plenty of talent. Maybe not great talent to dominate but enough talent to compete. They're not even doing that now. Time to get better.

Someone mentored this very thing a few years back and was told they were looking through Blue colored Goggles. How does the talent just stop? For starters Hergott isn’t playing in Ft Mitchell. He’s told as a Freshman. If you’re the best QB option your Soph year, then you’re the starting QB. Sure he doesn’t win that game last night alone. But Buten plays if Cam’s playing in Ft Thomas and not just living there. I will say it again and after watching 2 games now on TV, HHS isn’t very good and most definitely from my perspective terribly Coached. What is that stunt call for the D lineman when they run that circle rush? The oopty oop? What YouTube video did Coach Weinrich watch to come up with that? CCH’s film study has to be a party when they watch that. The oopty oop. Come on.

If Highlands only loses to CCH by 2 then all will be alright in Ft Thomas. That's where they are right now as a Program. The current administration believes in Moral victories and that's how they Gauge things these days. Participation and Everyone gets a Ribbon. Sorry, back to this thread. Sounds like Beechwood gave the Colonels all they wanted and then more. Great job boys. Hergott is a really nice Football player.
