This is making me thirsty..... But it's not even noon yet!!

First, I didn't realize that this was a BLOG. Secondly, I have not read where anyone said that Conner lost because of the officiating. Some have said it was questionable, but not the reason/excuse for the loss. By the way, were you at the game and what was your opinion?

Jordan Scott had an awesome final game of her senior year with 17 points and 15 rebounds. She absolutely played her heart out and left it all on the floor. Conner's 4 seniors (Scott, Pluto, Porter, Fairchild) were true leaders and great role models for the younger players. They don't have any reason to hang their head this morning as they helped to bring Conner back to a top program. I wish them all the best in the future. Congrats to Boone and Ryle for their wins last night.

I agree. Anyone with 500 pts and 300 rebounds in a season should not be overlooked for at least a tryout!

Congrats to NCC on a tough, physical win tonight. Who really gives a **** on strength of schedule this time of year. 20+ wins is impressive for any team. Please don't let the schedule take away from either team tonight. Both NCC and Conner needed a win before district play, but a last second shot won it for NCC. Could have gone either way, but NCC came out with an awesome finish. Great game for both teams! If you want to pound your chest and say "I told you so" then fine, but not sure how that takes away from a good regular season. Wow, can't believe I'm sounding like "one of those defensive parents," but oh well..... Haha!

Ha! I was going to stay out of this one, but you've crossed the line! haha! You could say that I'm pretty close to Madi and she does play very physical, but ultimately these were not fouls because they were not called... although there was one that probably should have :sssh:. She's aware that it's something she needs to work on. And I really don't have a problem with rocketky posting the pictures to try to prove his point. Just to let the other readers know, as far as knocking "the girl off her feet" (Paige), I can tell you it wasn't intentional or dirty. Madi and Paige played on the same AAU team last summer and know each other very well. I know rocketky, and know he didn't imply this, especially after his first post on this thread. A lot of calls are called that shouldn't be and there are calls that should be and aren't. We all know this. Let's just put this one to rest.

Agreed! Absolutely ridiculous! It was an extremely physical game and the refs tried to control it, but that "one" fan should have been an embarrassment to Holmes. Slamming her chair and screaming BS over and over again. Unacceptable.

Conner beat Boone in the Conner Christmas Tourney. Does this count as an official District win? If not, Conner is only 2-0 in District play, but face Boone next Wednesday night.

Thomas More's coach was at the Holy Cross/Conner game last night sitting with a gentleman with a Western Kentucky jacket on (not sure if he was affiliated with them or not though).

I saw where the 9th Region drew the 11th Region for the first round game of the Sweet 16 to be played on March 14th. I know this is a long way away, BUT, assuming Madison Central wins the 11th, which team in the 9th would have the best opportunity beating them if they played today? Madison Central is currently ranked #7 in the state according to the Litkenhous Ratings. I haven't watched MC play this year, so unfortunately I don't have much of an opinion.
