I heard the same last night Josh Stratton from Holmes and I also heard he is very good. I am happy for all the players as they have been waiting patiently. I do hope he brings back Coach Smith and Coach Wilmhof. I have also heard that Lloyd has teaching positions open at the present time. I wish Coach Stratton the best and he can start to rebuild the program. JD

As of last night all interviews have been completed and a person should be named by tomorrow hopefully, yes Dave Smith known to most Smitty has done temendous job keeping the players active and working out if not running track or playing baseball. He is a great person and good coach. JD

I saw them play about 3 times last year and they have some athelete's and big kid's. I really don't see a 0 - 10 season and think they can make some good strides this up coming season. JD

Ok Neverwrong I have been trying to catch one myself however, work and weather has not cooperated for me. JD

Well I just hope they name one soon for all the players sake and the coaches that are currently at Lloyd waiting on hold to see if they have job's or not. JD

Yes from what I heard last night they are interviewing this week and some have already been notified they would not be interviewed. It is getting hush hush now. JD

That is in the works to be changed next year however, I was told that spring practice had a certain time preiod a few weeks back to be completed by a certain date. I really don't know how that will work. I know the individuals not playing spring sports are still lifting and some track player's do also from time to time. I hope they make a decission soon so everyone can get on the same page. Lloyd gets out May 27th for summer break. Sorry Touch The Line I don't have a better answer. JD

Lloyd is on Spring break this week and Coach Smith has been running the weight program. As for spring practice they have not had one as of this date. Interview's from what I heard Tuesday would take place starting next week after spring break is over. JD

In case people would like to know I was told last night that 35 applicants from all over the state applied for the coaching job and they are currrently narrowing down to start interview's after this weeks spring break is over. I hope it is done quickly so the young men can get it going. JD

From what you say about SK I would love to see them play Highlands. I always liked SK and have had alot of good friends play and graduate there. Of course that was back in late 60's. UK#1 fan good luck JD

How come SK will play Beechwood a Class A team and won't play Highlands JD

From what I have been told by a reliable source that 27 people have applied for the job and all packets had to be in on Monday, March 28th. Glad to see so many individuals applied for the position and show's there is interest in comming to Lloyd. As far as interview's I have not heard anything. JD

Wanted to go to this game just can not stand watching baseball in the wind and cold. Will try to make it to Cooper game tomorrow weather possibly in the 50's at game time. JD

Kid's are going to go where the parent's want them to go and it happen's everywhere today. With the Erlanger Lions kid's in several different area's kid's go to all different schools: Dixie, Boone, Simon Kenton, Ryle, Cooper, Conner, CovCath, Beechwood, St Henry and Lloyd. As for Vocke his mother at the time made a good choice. Now Lloyd must find a way to keep these kid's and hopefully the new coach will do this. JD

Ryle's Coach Warner is not a teacher and has done well for himself, it all depends who is in the school that is on the coaching staff. Again it will be a tough decission to make by the committee. There are so many high school coaches in different sport's that are not teacher's and Lloyd has several coaches that are not teachers. JD

It will be hard since Lloyd will be cutting back and Coach Lucas will be staying on at Lloyd. It will be a tough decission by the committee to make that call Voice of Reason. JD

I am not at liberty to say at this time, It probably would take someone close to the program and I think you know who I am referring to Neverwrong. I am sure I will see you Monday at Boone County we can talk. JD
