You're preaching to the wrong crowd here. I agree with you about who gets awards. However, if you don't like the job they are volunteering to do....then you do it.

Not yet. Ky Prep Softball East/West All Star Weekend

Each team plays a total of 3 games over the East/West All Star weekend. Two on Saturday, one Sunday. Ballard HS in Louisville June 14th & 15th. Coincides with the KSCA awards banquet that Saturday night. Let's hope one or more of the three seniors can get the chance to represent KY and be selected for the KY-TN All-Star game.

I would say they probably are. They finished #5 in 2013 KHSAA State tournament. Started pre-season poll at #13 & remain in top 25 last week at #17.

Then it would be up to the coach to establish team expectations if a player misses for anything, not just another sport. If there are no repercussions then don't blame the athlete that it continues. Also, Michaela is going to college for basketball, not softball & I'm betting that NCC is willing to take her whenever they can get her.

Was told by her buddy that A) she was angry she missed seeing the slam & B) that "it's the bat!!" :clap: Watch out summer ball. Congrats DK & Boone!

Since you seem to know so much, you must be close to the situation. Why don't you fill us all in....

It certainly raises a red flag that the BOE should be looking into why it happened and what investigation was done by the school about the allegations. 1. Why did the previous coach leave? Why one week before season started? 2. There is a chain of command within school districts & when the complaints of bullying fell on deaf ears with the principal, were their complaints taken higher?

Do you really believe Coach Stowers was clueless that there was a possibility Kennedy would go to NDA as a freshman? She got into 15 out of 33 games as an 8th grader. There were 14 other players that got more playing time than she did. What's your issue?

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. The same situation occurred last year, there is some culpability on BBHS. I do agree there are other complexes that would be happy to hold this tournament & do it right.

With the field situation last year (field #1 at least), if I was the hosting team, I would have been out there Friday morning assessing the conditions. Honestly, I would have gone prior to Friday and followed up Thursday night/Friday morning. If they keep that venue I believe I would have to agree to paying only half the cost of the complex upfront and the other half at completion of the it being in playable conditions.

Didn't take it as a knock at all. Just answering JMU's question. You are right about the 2 headed monster...they both stay healthy and the whole team continues to hit, my money is on the Pandas again this season. But I am slightly biased :lol:

Jones was able to pitch but the girls are on a pitching rotation & unfortunately for Holmes it was Smiths game to pitch :sorry: I'm sure hoping there isn't any NKY team to beat the Pandas this year but we have 2 months to find out!!!!
