In a true pitchers dual, this win is pulled out in favor of the paNDAs. A few errors plagued both sides, 3 each I believe. Elizabeth pitched a great game! I didn't stick around to watch the JV game but I heard that Conner's 8th grade pitcher did a fantastic job in the circle & there's a bright future for her. Congrats to her on the win!

Series of misfortunate events for the paNDAs tonight. No hits and errors won't win games. Congrats to Dixie pitcher to limiting us to three hits, great work in the circle. Also to the timely hits off Smith. Smith allows 6 hits, 2 earned runs and has 10 Ks

Katelyn Baker gets her first varsity start & win in the circle! She had 6 K's, allowed 4 hits, 2 walks. None of the runs were earned. Girls still working through some errors. Kennedy Baugh remained hot at the plate and went 2-3 with one of them being a grand slam. Rylee Stephenson was 2-4 with 2 doubles & an RBI. Katelyn helped herself by going 2-2, a walk, and an RBI. Thanks to paNDA for braving the wind & chill to take some pictures!!

Yes, I've hexed the girl before by merely answering a question asked to me about hits and no sooner than I answered, along came a hit! Needless to say my name was MUD with both her & her dad. It's why I don't sit by people....would require me to talk to them & feel obligated to answer crazy questions!

So then college, MLB & the NFL have it all wrong, huh? There shouldn't be a Heisman winner or MLB or NFL Player of Year? They are position sports, as you say....everyone's position should get ranked, right? That's how the little ol' 9th region should be cause you can't compare apples to oranges, right? I don't believe LB ever compared any of the girls directly to each other. I would assume that he ranked them based on what HE FELT they brought OVERALL to their respective teams. Ever watched pre-game shows Sunday afternoon or MLB network? Their analysts will each give you their OPINIONS and each one will have a different top 5/10/100....does that make any of them more right than someone else's? Nope because they are only one persons OPINION. For having no dog in this fight, you sure did get your feathers ruffled pretty easy. Simmer down and take the list LB started and start watching some of these girls. You may learn a little bit about them & my guess is while watching them, you'll get the opportunity to see some girls that may impress you that weren't listed. When you have some 9th region softball knowledge come back & challenge LB with your own Top 10 or better yet..Top 20 list.

I would say that the drama didn't start until your talons came out and seemed to want us to believe that you were actually worried about making some girls & their parents feelings hurt because of one person's Top 10 list. I HIGHLY doubt that anyone is either losing sleep or waiting for Coach Lawson to knock at their door because of how LB ranked them!! But hey, since my kid was ranked #1 ....my check's in the mail Lawnboy! Help me understand your multiple comments about "D1, not D2, not D3 or NAIA". Are they supposed to make girls that choose something other than the ONE AND ONLY D1 feel like they accomplished something? #1 should only be a player that commits D1, right? The others certainly couldn't be talented enough to earn that because they didn't commit D1!! Seeing how you are so concerned no one has hurt feelings, I figured maybe you would be willing to explain what division any girl commits to has to do with where she should rank in the little old 9th Region. I wonder if Crystl Bustos ever cracked the Top 10?? Nah.........she only went to a community college!!

Exactly, it was one person and I corrected my generalization of Holmes fans to the one idiot fan yesterday.

I guess trying to deflect classless behavior by an ADULT to a TEENAGER works for you two. I didn't hear this adult either as one poster said he was making comments maybe not necessarily heard by most, even players on the court. My daughter doesn't normally pay attention to the stands but when one of her teammates fouls out and there's a fan clapping and saying "You're next 40, you're next", she takes notice. This was in the last 5 min or so of the game. Holmes is winning, apparent they were going to win, what really was the purpose of the ADULT to make comments? As for our player calling Holmes player a bad name, no I don't think anyone at NDA would condone it. It doesn't show sportsmanship. The difference between this incident and the one with my daughter is it was TEENAGER TO TEENAGER, not ADULT to TEENAGER. If you think your kids go to school and aren't called names, even at Catholic schools, you're living with your head in the sand & ought to pull it out. As for the parents calling out the refs, I think I already addressed that and said that our parents at times do that as do every schools parents. Heard some Holmes fans having words for the refs last night when there were calls against your team. Goes both ways. However, it is ADULT to ADULT heckling. You should really just sit back and ride the wave of success your girls are giving rather than attempt to justify :poop: behavior by one of your adult fans.

I said NDAs court..... I beg to differ with you, parents at NDA do not heckle the players of other teams. Refs, other coaches, at times....but not the players. Big difference
