Looks to me like you 7 to 10 players with D1 offers , that's as much as Trinity in their heyday. You ought to be shoo in for a State Title. But you were 6-7 last year, so it looks like its poor coaching, I guess.

I'm gonna let you PT guys in on a little secret, if you're a junior or you're a marginal recruit the D1 schools aren't going to offer you this early in the season. Now the Carter kid is an exception, he has the size and speed to play SEC football. Too many things can happen.

I looked them up and your right 4 of your 5, I found have offers, all except Thomas who I found runs 5.12 40. It looks like so far we're about even on the D1 offers . In other words, you got talent, we got talent.

The qb is a decent to good qb. He is a marginal prospect at this point. Just be cause you say these guys have D1 offers doesn't make it so. I would say Mayfield has 4 players off the top of my head that will get D1 offers. Starks, Dabney, Jackson and Biggers but I'm just guessing. I'm talking Murray State and the like.

Who are those players? Are they genuine offers or just looks. If one of those player's is the QB , don't make me laugh.

You're half right. Mayfield is more disciplined but I would say PT is not more talented. They have a bigger offensive line.

Are you sure about that? Mayfield won the State Championship in the 4x400 last spring with all underclassmen. They all play football and there's plenty more. I would say Mayfield has as much speed as any team in the State , no matter the class.

To be fair Mayfield lost a good player last year also. Beechwood was slightly better than Mayfield last year.

Maybe they would beat Mayfield, BG could have beaten LCA. It was a good game to watch but the defensive coordinators are having fits. And if BG beat Mayfield I would say it wouldn't be by much.
