I follow several Cincinnati schools they start their playoffs this week. Several good schools in the area that should make a long run in the playoffs.

Who do you like to win it all?  I am interested to see how Moeller finishes.

I haven't looked at the brackets yet. But I hope Anderson does good. Moeller should be tough.

I am interested to see how St. Edward (OH) finishes out the year.

Who Ya With!!

I'm with Big Moe. GCL South Champs.

Hopefully this is the year Moeller gets over the hump and brings home the Championship to Cincinnati!!!

Showing my age, but is the great Moeller coach JerryFaust still alive?  Moeller was a juggernaut program under him.

I believe Coach Faust is 89 years old and living in the Akron area from what I read.

St. Ed's played a monster schedule and ended the season 5-5.  They will be playing a good Findlay team this Friday.

It's hurt St. Eds that their best offensive player, Brandon White, hasn't played since late in the third Q of the Boyle game. He's a JR with offers from Akron, Marshall, Coastal Carolina, Eastern Michigan, and Kent State. Their best DL has also missed a few games. Both game changers.

I think coach Bathiany brings home the hardware for Mighty Moe this year.  Highlands shoulda, woulda, coulda...

I really like OHSAA seeding the teams 1-16 in each region.

Colerain is looking to hire a new coach.

Colerain once a great power has been terrible the past several years. Where is Kerry Combs....?

From Archbishop Moeller High School on Facebook:

Thank you, Coach Gerry Faust— you were a legendary leader whose faith, work ethic, and devotion to your players and to Moeller led to championships on the field while inspiring young men to succeed off it.

Over 18 years as the Crusaders’ head coach, he compiled an extraordinary record of 178-23-2, including 12 Greater Catholic League (GCL) championships, five Ohio state championships, and four national titles. All while making it to Mass every day.

We will miss you.
