  10. Nobody ever wants to get drilled. But the point of a scrimmage is to make your team better. And the only way to make your team better is to play teams that are of equal or better quality. In the state of Kentucky, not many programs can say that they are of equal or better quality than the birds. Trinity is one of a handful!
  11. Seriously.... Trinity was definitely the better team. My point was, that if 3 key offensive starters are missing, it is going to affect your performance as a team. And like I said, it gives your backups valuable experience against one of the premier programs in the state. Something they wouldn't get playing inferior competition.
  12. The point of a scrimmage is to make yourself better for the regular season. If Highlands has the opportunity to scrimmage Trinity every year, they should do it. What good would it do them to crush somebody in a scrimmage. That shows you nothing. And if I'm Trinity, I want to scrimmage the birds every year. Chances are, they will provide much better competition than anyone else in the state year in and year out.

  14. Trinity is very good. But the birds did play without their two starting tackles. And their top receiver, Austin Sheehan, didn't play either. I don't think these guys would have put the birds over the top, but they definitely would have helped the offense move the ball better.
  15. Another Cincinnati school. They apparently can't get anyone else in NKY to play them, outside of Cov Cath 2x and Ryle 2x.

  21. Maybe they should mandate 3 person crews. The kids today are so big and fast, it is next to impossible for 2 person crews to keep up. And I agree, if every hand check was called, we would have 3 hour games.
