  1. That suprises the heck out of me. Find that hard to believe but sometimes guys with grudges seem to fabricate stories.
  2. If bellevue attempts to let Yates get his hands on the ball then it will be a long night for the Tigers! Bellevue has no one in the same league when it comes to game changing or breaking ability as Yates.
  3. Well if you played against Skirvin, I feel sorry for your chest. That is after he ran you over and stepped on you as he went bye. I wish all Bellevue people had the class of Montgomery, Rechtin, and Coach Coleman.
  4. Pike will play DE at Auburn!! All 3 are very, very good players!!
  5. The "Duddabides" has no class or common sense. Total D-Bag!
  6. Fogelman is their leading rusher out of the dreaded Wing-T. He also touches a lot more than Huff. My point was that Huff is the only Bellevue back that is a threat to take it to the house because of his speed and vision. owever, Fogelman doesn't carry the team, it is defenitely been the O-Line opening the holes or not opening the holes.
  7. If Dayton has it's players back that resemble the team that faced Brossart, then Dayton wins by 2 scores, if not then it will be a great one in the fourth quarter.
  8. I really have seen Bellevue over the last 3 weeks and they are not turning the corner like yrs past. They are very, very young. Their best athlete is out for the year, (Dylan huff). Ludlow has best athlete not named Vocke in Class A in Chris Yates. Dayton might be getting some of their better players either this week or in 2 weeks.
  9. I am a believer in Coach Montgomery! I honestly believe that Bellevue's administration (former coach who now practically runs school distirct) failure to hire Chad is Dayton's gain and will be seen in years to come.
  10. Big game with winner trying to get in line for a 2 seed and a possible home game.
  11. Good one, kid! Don't want to get into who has the "bigger, better" one but I would put my career, and the way I live my life against you anytime. Everyday I positively shape the minds and attitudes of our future. Not only do I coach multiple H.S. Sports, I also counsel children who are abused. Before I sleep every night, I go to the mirror and ask myself one question. Did I do my best today? In reference to: Was I the best husband, son, friend, educator, coach, mentor, and server of Christ. That is my creed! I don't need to go to a level to which you live your extra-ordinary life. I just hope that your views, opinions, and judgements are not shaping the views of anyone!
  12. Truth is: It is what it is. The "rich" get richer and the poor get poorer. It is just like our political and economical situation in the U.S.A.! What boggles my mind is the lack of competition from kids. Kids choose to leave Ludlow, Bellevue, and Dayton to sit and ride the pine at NCC/Beechwood/Highlands and collect rings. Why not have some pride and stay in your city and fight for what you get and not ride coat tails of some other kid. However, a kid like (LB @Highlands) Josh Quillen leaves Dayton and goes and starts 3 yrs for Highlands.
  13. And you think by letting those kids go play for other programs doesn't kill Dayton. Those kids could get a taste in their mouth of winning and this kills their program's future.
  14. I think Beechwood has proven it could compete with most except with Highlands. Beechwood consistently would compete for the top 2 spots in all districts in NKY.
  15. Touchdown Tiger, it was an exagerration. I have forgotten more about NKY football and football in general than you have in general knowledge.
  16. Beechwood-1A NCC-2A Highlands-4A Cooper-5A Anyone in 6A except Trinity
  17. I agree. best of Luck to all schools and hope that NKY dominates the state finals!
  18. I like ruffling feathers. There was a proposed True Class A division. It was proposed as the Bottom 16 or 32. It was the schools with the lowest enrollment in the state. beechwood has a great program, as well as NCC, and Highlands. I just think it would be more competitive if the small (poverty schools could compete with each other. For example, a district of Ludlow, Bellevue, Dayton, abd Bracken makes much sense. Beechwood has such an advantage. The small schools have such more battles to fight. I once heard a conversation between Coach Ridder and Coach Yeagle and it was interesting. Coach Yeagle said he didn't have to worry about kids being ineligible, kids moving schools because their parents were homeless or bouncing from projects to projects. In the end best of luck to all these schools and the coaches who are parents, mentors, counselors, as well as coaches.
  19. Unfortunately, for the fellow true Class A schools, Bellevue has no chance! This is a thought I would like to purpose: All of Beechwood's sports programs are moving up in Class, except the Mighty, Mighty Football team. Every sport, every one except the Footballl team. I mean it is a tough choice I guess. Do they continue to dominate the local scene and not get challenged or do they move up and always finish 2nd to NCC. There might be a one time every five years that they might beat NCC. Just want some thoughts or opinions. Would honestly like to hear from the Beechwood people.
  20. I was told that Mills plays DL because he has problems playing in space. yes they have graduated many kids the last 3 yrs, but so has everyother team in High School Football. There are 2 huge factors in H.S. football. The best player on the field gives a huge advantage to his team (aka Miles Simpson). Also, like no other sport coaching plays a huge part. A coach can dictate the outcome like no other sport. I knew Marksberry was not a good coach when Josh Elbert's class were seniors and they were picked by everyone to win 4A. That year, 5 and 5 and no playoff game. A QB that throws for over 2k and runs for another 800, a big TB, and Scott's best player transfers over and Jeff leads them to 5 and 5. The last 3 yrs Miles, Lawrence, Baldwin, and most importantly Coach Herbst has made him look like the 2nd coming of Bear Bryant or Dale Mueller.
  21. Yates does it all for them. If Bellevue and Dayton can wrangle him up it will make out to be 2 competitive games. However, he can make defenders look silly. On his punt return Nicholas Co. looked like Rocky Balboa trying to catch the chicken Mickey let loose.
